I don't remember my exact first day I used the Internet, or what I did that day, but I do remember it was sometime in the week immediately before 9/11, and I also remember the Internet wasn't working on the morning of 9/11. I was of course too young to know what Sand niggers were, who George W. Bush was, or even the significance of the Twin Towers falling. But I did teach myself how to use a web browser that week.
