When I was growing up, my parents always taught me to save my money, and not have a fuck-ton of credit cards (1 or 2 was fine, just to establish some sort of credit and have a high credit score when you make your payments on time). Who the fuck would want to have that worry on their shoulders 24/7 where they don't know if they can make ends meat or keep the fucking house while balacing the constant bills you get in the mail?

Can confirm. I'm an average looking slim guy who's had 6 ex girlfriends and countless dates back in my 20's thanks to online dating. All of them were average looking as well.
Now there IS an argument to be made on how dating, especially online dating, has been declining in quality for yerars now, especially thanks to the political climate (e.g. if you live in a blue state, you'll see more "don't contact me if you're a trump supporter" profiles). Otherwise getting a chick is not as hard as some people make it out to be.

Null, as Lidl, constantly seethes in that thread about Metokur because he's mad that still to this day Jim is more successful streaming than him so the same five posters are constantly shitting up everything to find something that will be the end to Metokur. Null was seething in the thread about how bad Metokur's Christmas merch was throughout that because it still sells more his Kiwifarms shirts. There's a bunch of Ralph tagnuts mad that all of the Sektur fell but Jim. There's Null, as Lidl, constantly seething about everything Jim does. And there's his fans who can't take any criticism of their favorite streamer.
That whole thread exists and is spurned on by Null because he's perpetually a seething fag about Jim still being more popular than him and anyone on his site giving money to people not him are traitors. Null e-begs constantly but still mentions in every thread about how bad paypigs for whoever he doesn't like are.
The highest amount of credit card debt to income are people sitting right between middle and upper middle class. $5000 in credit card debt across multiple cards and years is incredibly low.

I think it's a timeframe thing, I believe dating post lockdown has changed a lot, it seems to have become an extension of doom scrolling. In my dating days we traveled around in large packs, either meeting people through friends, or talking to people online and inviting them out with the larger group, you then got drunk in the same room multiple times until you eventually hooked up...
