It's scary how true this is.
If one is to take the mainstream Internet at face value, one would be led to believe that everyone supports this TQIAP+ shit, that you have to respect tranny pronouns, etc. You see the screenshot time lapse on here or KF right after some pedophile was exposed, or some story about a tranny came out, and you realize at least 50% of the comments are being jannied because they're unfit for the safe space. There is no such thing as free speech on these platforms. There are things you can't even say on 4chan these days, and they also block VPNs so you aren't even anonymous anymore.
I think the main driving force behind this is the advertising industry, and in 4chan's case, limiting their legal liability.
You can apparently say whatever you want on KF, if it's not critical of
@Null and especially if it's glue eating window licker drivel. Except when it's in a featured thread, because then it's seen as shitting up the site. He's at odds with these people, but he also uses them as his personal army and piggy bank. I think the makeup of the KF userbase is changing for the worst and I do wonder about the long term viability of
@Null begging his userbase for money.
I wonder how many of these retards have illegally downloaded copyrighted music, or driven a car 20mph over the speed limit while texting.
A big part of why I don't use social media is because I know for a fact that I'm not free to say what I want to say.
I even feel a bit of that self censorship here, particularly when dealing with kengle. I archive some of my posts because there's a high chance he'll delete them. He's hard to read because he's so autistic, so I try not to be too mean because I have no idea how badly it will affect him. I'm not interested in a-logging him, though I'm convinced that I could really fuck him up by a-logging if I actually wanted to. Otherwise he's boring and lame to argue with, having too much autism and not enough intellegence.
@Meowsolini, who is at least as smart as me, has given me much more fulfilling arguments and I don't have to think about whether or not he's going to kill himself as a result of something I said.
