Why don't you just put your nickname in there? I haven't been here long but I agree with the presumed reason why changing your name isn't allowed more than twice. Same reason you're not allowed to delete your posts willy nilly. This is as much of a drama site as it is an archival site. Why allow the users to alter and change important things on the fly constantly? Would make backtracking for recording purposes much harder.

Yeah but they still have to willingly volunteer their free time instead of telling him to fuck off because they don't want the position. Volunteer as in work for free. This also applies to Reddit since they get to pick and choose the mods they promote for large subreddits too, unless you want an empty subreddit with just yourself as an admin.
