Yes, it's perfectly normal to have mild surface level conversations with a minor and they don't even have to be related to you. Teachers, coaches, youth groups, whatever do it all the time. If you can't have a normal conversation with a minor and need to shield yourself from being a pedo creep by any means necessary you're just telling on yourself. I voice chat in video games and don't break down in tears if someone says they're a minor. Oh, the horror.

Hold on a minute: I've never been in the education field but I believe that school districts may have policies about teachers and other employees communicating directly with students on their social media.

I think the original context was communicating with minors "in game chat", which seems harmless to me as long as it's game related.

Yeah that's different, thats taking a professional relationship private which is a big red flag. They are still welcome to have casual conversations between eachother though, otherwise nobody would be able to be chill with their teachers/coaches/leaders ect.

Nobody normal hung around after class schmoozing with the teachers it was only the weird kids and believe me your teachers just wanted to go home and stop talking to the annoying kid that nobody liked.

Wait so which is it, I'm anti social or was overly social with teachers? But no sorry I didn't have a close relationship with any of my teachers. I have worked in education so I'm familiar with what appropriate adult/student interactions look like.

I'm talking about what happens during normal school hours. If teachers were only allowed to strictly discuss curriculum with students, school would be a very drab place.

Except I've seen this happened multiple times with kids who were at the top of the class or were liked by the class.

I relate though. I made an account to post in the losing people to transgenderism support thread to share my story about my brother trooning and find people to relate to. It's a common experience with not many places to discuss it. Unfortunately most of those people in that thread and on kf aren't very relatable to me. They have always hated trannies, some for good reasons some for almost no reason. Most did not experience someone very close to them trooning either, just a friend of a friend's cousin who trooned. I have found some similar people though and it's cathartic for sure.

So yeah I joined KF to rage about trannies and idgaf. I met the people I wanted to and got what I got from it. I don't really go in stinkditch/BP anymore because its a boring "virtuejerk" but I don't regret it.

Being in education =/= being a teacher. You're legitimately going mental over this so please see above reasoning on why I am not her. You didn't think I was jambled a month ago, what changed? All anyone has to do to make you believe someone's her is call another user out for being rude.
