If we can just take off the alog hats for just a moment, we can recognize a few things:
#1: Josh is most likely just like you or I. If he can get his hands on a retirement fund, he could probably just coast off of that for the rest of his life without fucking up his future.
#2: His audience and his website's userbase is horrendously autistic. As long as he doesn't sperg out or ban anyone for longer than a week for the rest of his life, his website will probably never revolt.
#3: He just got his hands on $150,000. While he might be inclined to just blow it all right now on blackjack and hookers (and while he might be doing this during his "hiatus"), he isn't all that much of a retard, even if he does show historically consistently bad judgement. He is probably trying to decide what he is going to do with this money now that it was just decided that his Epik lawsuit was more or less resolved.
Overall, he is probably very tempted to blow through his $150,000 now that he doesn't need a third of it for the Epik lawsuit, but he is probably trying to figure out how to sell the website and just buy a mail order bride and retire quietly. This is honestly a pretty feasible goal as long as he tard wrangles himself. A big if, but it is doable.
