It's a lot more common than you think, Elaine... I remember having a chat with a nurse (as you'll know, I live in a public sector city, I've met looooaaaaddddsss of nurses), it's about growing up, and having "conflicting messages" from authority figures (parents). As E-lame can't go a day without her contradicting herself... also, BPD is often the polite version of NPD, as women (who make up most of the "BPD" cases) really don't like admitting, despite the evidence, we live in a society that literally idolizes (as in Idolatry, like in the Bible) Wymbymz.
