Of course not, but the car thing is just another way for rich politicians to skim money off the top of normal people. Which is how they become rich. Chinese people incorrectly believe that abusing them increases the flavor but that's because they're used to eating food that should be in resident evil 6.

Yeah it's ridiculous. Same goes for any sort of structure like a simple shed, a tree house, or even a pool. As long as it doesn't fuck up power lines or plumbing you should do whatever you want on your own property.

I've been informed that the garage on my property is grandfathered in, which means that I'm not allowed to make any changes to it. If the garage were to be damaged or destroyed, it's unlikely that I would be able to replace it due to current zoning regulations.

I was told it's because the property line is too close to the neighbors, which also doesn't make any sense, because it's still on my property and there's still a garage there. So, if I put another garage in the exact spot where the current garage is, what difference would it make?

It's just extortion basically. I can imagine if you have an off grid home in bum fuck nowhere they would spite you every opportunity they got even with no one around to bother. They also want you depending on them. Many laws are created by rich assholes which is why the punishment is often just paying off the government in some way for a lot arbitrary laws. They have to make extra money to embezzle somehow. I guess taxes and insider trading isn't enough.

Because the rich can't really get any richer, so they have to make us poorer to widen that gulf even more. It's not about them taking more for themselves, but destroying what little the common man still has.
