Vivian posted the following to his Patreon account, because that cocaine addiction doesn't pay for itself and he's already lost like 7 Patrons since "killing" his Vivian Strange alter ego:

hi Strangers! still in the thick of making We Need to Talk About the Marquis de Sade (Side B); while I do that, here's some supplementary......

So he found some webpage online with a text by the late Discordian Robert "Don't Put a Rubber on Your Willy" Wilson and read the whole thing aloud in a video:

13ChorusesForAFuckingProstituteKiller01.jpg

I guess the GoFundMe cocaine has so thoroughly fried Vivian's brain that he can no longer write anything original of his own anymore. Unable to think for himself, unable to articulate anything coherent, all he can do now is read other people's texts.

"What Sade saw — what Marat did not see — the hidden meaning of Peter Weiss's noisy and Sophoclean circus of a play — is that Man as we know him, Man in historical time, is entirely the product of punishment. That punishment defines his character, contours and structures his character, is his character. That sado-masochism is not a perversion, or a "way of life," but the meaning of our civilization."

The book where this essay by Wilson was published came out in 1988. I don't know if the above essay was written around the same time as the book was being assembled, but AFAICT, Robert Wilson was plagiarizing and distorting what LaVey had already said about societal masochism by "compulsive masochists" in The Satanic Bible which was published in 1969, thus predating the above book by almost 2 decades:

Oh, but this part must've really triggered the fuck out of Viv: "Interested in leather on women.... "

Open any schlock newspaper and read the personal ads in which S-M people grope for each other: "Docile young man seeks woman experienced in discipline . . . " "Male, interested in leather and uniforms, seeks male of dominant disposition ... " "Interested in leather on women.... "

But this is not Sade's direction, my God, it is the direction of General Hershey and LBJ; it is the direction of our civilization; it is the essence of our civilization, dragged out into hideous visibility. Uniforms and discipline. "Kill for freedom, kill for peace, kill Vietnamese, kill, kill, kill!" The hallucinatory parental voice that says "You are homosexual" and "You must kill him." Uniforms and discipline. The blind leading the blind.

Albert Ellis is more general than Dr. Berne. According to Dr. Ellis, in a lecture at the N.Y. General Semantics Society, most neurotics — i.e., most civilized people — go around with a little internal voice saying "You are a no-good shit." ("You are homosexual," "You are a coward," and "You are a helpless neurotic" are only three variations on the main theme. The main theme is always "You are a no-good shit.")

Eric Frank Russell, the science-fiction writer, propounded a riddle once: "If everybody hates war, why do wars keep on happening?" Remember the S-M ads: "seeks discipline," "seeks uniforms," "seeks leather and rubber."

"Interested in leather on women....", I literally joked that Vivian needs to wear more leather after seeing those Bsky pictures of Tali. Vivian, you know Lola wants a cool rider and that cool rider just ain't you!

As an aside, here's something I discovered while making the timeline based on Lola's testimony: Vivian once LIKED a Letterboxd review by Tali!

VIvianLikedALBReviewByTaliWTF.jpg

So Vivian wasn't always hating on Tali. At the very beginning of his friendship with Lola, Vivian appeared to like whatever Tali had to say about films. I guess Vivian only began hating on his sexual rival when he realized that these two were really committed, that Tali wouldn't part-time Lola, and Lola wouldn't cheat on Tali by getting herself into a situation where Vivian could force his ladyboner upon her, like sleeping in the same bed. This animosity between Vivian and Tali kinda puzzles me, because AFAICT they're very similar in certain ways. Both are troons, both are bookworms, both chain smokers, both tranarchists, both are into edgy films, under different circumstances they could've even been friends based on their common interests. The main difference between them is that Tali is patient and willing to give Lola the space to proceed with things at her own pace and comfort, whereas Vivian is manipulative, entitled and impatient. Another difference between them is obviously the leather and the fact that Tali is into motorcycles. So now we get Vivian quoting an essay arguing that leather is a symptom of Authority, Punishment, Obedience, Discipline and Submission, which is very Adornoesque.

The next the segment is about spanking children, which I am sure will excite communist Youtuber Caleb "spankie tankie" Maupin if he's lurking along:

CalebMaupinSExperience.jpg

I dreamed I called Fulton Sheen on the phone and asked him, I read in your column that "A child needs a pat on the back to encourage him — provided it is applied hard enough, low enough and often enough." You believe that crap, man?

"Without discipline," he intoned, "our whole civilization would fall into anarchy. 'I will chastize him with my rod,' says the Good Book."

But, but, man — I protested — you're supposed to be anti-sex. Don't you know some cats get their rocks off that way? Ain't you read about spanking orgies and people coming in their pants during it? Ain't you against anybody coming, ever, anywhere, anytime, in any way?

"Argggh!" he said, like the dying villain of a comic book, and I couldn't tell if he was having an orgasm or a heart attack.

CalebMaupinTheSilentSpankingMajority.jpg

This part basically sounds like a personal fantasy:

Who got the Indian Sign on you? How did it start? At age 12, worrying that J. Edgar Hoover was watching you jack off through his Washington telescope? Was it the bogey-man they scared you with? "Don't make dirty-dirty in your pants or ogres will come and eat you"? Circumcision the most cruel and inhuman attack on the genital accepted by your doctors; why? Schedule feeding that fucked up the minds of a generation; why? Is that how they get the soldiers for their wars? The whip-and-belt boys, the uniform-and-discipline boys, the Pentagon boys, all one big happy spanking-orgy?

Robert Wilson went to the sex club, just like Vivian, where he called up a woman he was into to determine if she likes the right books:

And what happens in a Playboy Club? Have you stood there, like me, vodka-and-tonic in hand, looking down a bunny's cleavage and thinking suddenly of Lon Chaney as the Wolf-Man: "Even a man who is pure of heart / And says his prayers by night / Can turn to a wolf when the wolfbane blooms ? and the moon is full and bright.... " If you turned the fantasies of each person in the room onto the wall in LSD stereo what would it look like — a friendly little orgy, the Rape of the Sabine Women, or Mass Murder?

I dreamed I called a bunny on the phone and asked her, dig de Sade?

"But the most, darling," she cooed.

But, but — I asked — what do you really think of men?

"But, hon," she said innocently, "what do cattle think of butchers?"

And the line went dead with an abrupt click like a diaphragm falling from a purse onto a cold metal floor.

"And the line went dead with an abrupt click like a diaphragm falling from a purse onto a cold metal floor" ... I am guessing that Vivian, due to his age, doesn't know that "purse" is an old synonym for a vagina, so "a diaphragm falling from a purse" is one literally slipping out of a woman's vagina. So why did Wilson have a problem with women wearing a diaphragm? Perhaps for the same reason pedophile anarchist Hakim Bey was an anti-abortionist:

Paedophilia is not the only opinion for which Hakim Bey has irritated other anarchists. One example is his views on abortion. In "Communique #9" of the Association for Ontological Anarchy, Bey wrote: "According to Chaos Theory, it does not follow that we are obliged to like or approve of murder or abortion. Chaos would enjoy seeing every bastard love-child carried to term & birthed; sperm & egg alone are merely lovely secretions, but combined as DNA they become potential consciousness, negentropy, joy... If 'meat is murder!' as the Vegans like to claim, what pray tell is abortion?"

Funny how these male anarchists all seem to have a real problem with women controlling their fertility. Speaking of slipping diaphragms and "Don't Put a Rubber on Your Willy", here's something else I discovered while browsing Vivian's old Letterboxd reviews: did y'all know that Vivian himself almost had a daughter as a teenager because he had knocked up his older girlfriend by not wearing a rubber on his willy? His older girlfriend wasn't wearing a diaphragm either, or using any other type of birth control, despite having sex with a teenager who could get her pregnant. Assuming this story isn't made up (that's always a possibility with narcs), Vivian doesn't say how old he actually was at the time of this incident, but the fact that he's referring to himself as a "teenager" to me suggests that possibly the law was being broken here:

Also, fun story: I had an unplanned pregnancy when I was a teenager with an older rich Southern woman who lived in an old money plantation house and was raised on this movie. Basically, if not for a very very VERY fortunate miscarriage, I would have a daughter named Scarlett. And that is probably my life's darkest timeline.

To conclude, Vivian, just STFU with your self-victimizing narrative about how you're being "punished". If I wanted to "punish" you, I would be reporting your Livestreams where you do drugs in violation of the ToS to Youtube to get you banned from streaming. I would be reporting your fraudulent campaigns to GFM to get them shut down. I would be reporting you to LE to sic them onto you for your extremist statements about how students should get guns to "shoot cops, fascists and Zionists". The fact that I haven't done any of the above means you're not being punished or held accountable for anything you've actually done. The reason why I don't report you is because 1) it's against the lolcow forum rules (no cow-tipping) and 2) it's pointless anyway, because you're a certifiably crazy person who can just plead insanity and go to the mad house instead of jail to escape the accountability that is only reserved for the rest of us sane people who know right from wrong. You cannot be held accountable for destroying other people's lives, or for urging them to destroy their lives at your behest, because you're too insane to understand the concept of accountability. Like Wilson, you just think in terms of "punishments and rewards", which is the narcissist's transactional mode of thinking, and the above video of you using Wilson's text is just meant to reinforce your narcissistic transactional thinking.

Vivian impersonates Christian Bale as Batman - The Leftist Cooks post a new video "When Your Hero Is A Monster" insulting the Queen again - Vivian only discovered ContraPoints in 2019, so he never got to see Nyk in leather spanking himself... until today.

Vivian posted his Thirteen Choruses video, and the most interesting part is this where Vivian does his "Christian Bale as Batman" voice:

Vivian also doesn't know how to pronounce "Proudhon". It's pronounced "prew-dOHn" with that typically French silent nasal N at the end, not as "proud-on".

In the description he can't be arsed to link to the original text online, but instead he claims that the video is meant to be a teaser for the second de Sade video he's been promising since forever:

This reading of Robert Anton Wilson's 1988 essay on the Marquis de Sade is presented -- in accordance with the instructions in the deceased Miss Strange's will -- as a primer for the upcoming Side B of "We Need to Talk About the Marquis de Sade." (Side A: • Power, Pleasure, and the Marquis de Sade)
VivianJustineNJuliette.jpg

Someone actually left Vivian this comment underneath his first video about de Sade, LMAO:

VivianCantSayDonatienAlphonseFrancois.jpg

You couldn't either find out how to pronounce his first name or just avoid using it altogether. And you didn't make a convincing case for why either his writings (which you yourself admit are unreadable gibberish) or his life are supposed to matter to queers of now or our theorizing besides "transgression", which isn't as meaningful as a lot seem to think. Donation my ass.

Doesn't Vivian have any French rape apologists amongst his cult of personality who can teach him how to pronounce French names?

Vivian's former friends the Leftist Cooks posted this video about comic book author Neil Gaiman being, not just rapey but an actual serial rapist, but it might as well have been about Vivian:

When Your Hero Is A Monster

Amanda, Lola Sebastian and Aranok all lend their voices to the making this video... as did FD Signifier, so I guess he too now knows what Vivian Strange was doing all this time with his fellow Youtubers.

Fortunately this time they tell you to just fast-forward to the end for the TLDR version, so you don't have to watch them insult the Queen all over again. I don't understand why these people are so obsessed with JK Rowling that they need to insult her literally in every video. I really think their audience is retarded or something and can't keep up their attention spans going unless they get a regular serving of "BTW, JK Rowling sucks" throughout such a long video. The worst thing about the above video is that the Leftist Cooks wallow in the usual "learned helplessness" that is so typical of the SJW woke gender cult that makes BreadTube videos unwatchable for peddling this kind of self-victimization. Vicitms of narcs really don't want to be told that they can't do anything to prevent being victimized again. The reason why videos about narcs on Youtube are so popular is because victims want to be empowered to learn the skills to recognize narcs so they will never be victimized again. Seriously, which video is more helpful to victims, the one above or, for example, this one here?

I just realized... Vivian said he only started watching Nyk in 2019, so that means he never got to see Nyk in leather spanking himself. Let's rectify that:

"People are just fucked up. It's best not to think too much about these things because rational discourse leads nowhere"

Though if Vivian had been around in 2016-2017, he could've been watching "lost media" ContraPoints video, it would've spared him a lot of trouble later on:

"If rape is the worst of crime and rapists are monsters, then why don't we feel when we're looking at abject evil when confronted with an actual rapist", "There's a mismatch between what we say we think about rape, and what we actually think", "rapists don't even think of their behaviour as rape in the first place", "I thought she wanted it too", "an erect dick has no conscience", "there are segments of American society that implicitly or explicitly encourage rape", "I'm not gonna take no for answer because I refuse to do that, because I'm a winner, and winners, we don't listen to words like 'no', or 'don't', or 'stop'.", "PM me your nudes, I'm a man on the internet who makes videos about rape, what could be safer than that?"

Especially this part, which Vivian consistently ignores in the name of being a "relationship anarchist":

Vivian's new Instagram avatar: "I am guilty of wanting more" - Tali buys a Sisters of Mercy T-shirt (is it this one?) - What was Vivian Strange doing on the same day of The Incident with Lola Sebastian? Fantasizing about JK Rowling getting "dicked down" by a troon #MakeTheConnection

TaliSoMshirt.jpg

I hope Tali got the one SoM T-shirt that says "Fuck Me And Marry Me Young", it's actually very appropriate and fitting for someone on the verge of getting engaged at 23.

This is Vivian's new Instagram avatar: "I am guilty of wanting more"

VivianIAmGuiltyOfWantingMore.jpg

The black and white image AFAICT is of butterflies landing on flowers and caterpillars crawling over branches with a pomegranate burst open to spill its seeds.

VSIAmGuiltyOfWantingMore.jpg

The above image was taken from this artist, vvangore:

Remember this post where I told Tali to listen to the song "More" by Sisters of Mercy to better understand the mind of a narcissist?

Some people get by
With a little understanding
Some people get by
With a whole lot more
I don't know
Why you gotta be so undemanding
One thing I know
I want more
I want more

(And I need all the love I can get)
(And I need all the love that I can't get too)
(And I need all the love I can get)
(And I need all the love that I can't get too)

D'you get scared to feel so much?
To let somebody touch you?
So hot, so cold, so far so out of control
The harder to come by, the harder to hold

There are parts of me that don't get nervous
Not the parts that shake
You won't get what you deserve
You are what you take
Learning to cry for fun and profit
I'm not done yet
Counterfeit dollars or the English zloty
Anything I can get

This song is obviously about a narcissist, someone who's willing to scam his way into riches and adoration. Someone who mocks others for violating their boundaries ("D'you get scared to feel so much?/To let somebody touch you?"), someone who emotionally whores himself ("learning to cry for fun and profit") and doesn't care if his rewards are real or fake ("Counterfeit dollars or the English zloty/Anything I can get") as long as they are perceived as rewards and bring him status and admiration. And just like a narc, nothing is ever good enough, the Cluster B needs all the love he can get and he needs all the love that he can't get too.

Want to see what Vivian Strange was doing on the very day he forced his ladyboner onto Lola while blaming her for causing it? (Which he obviously did because he wanted to guilt-trip Lola into having sex with him. Vivian insists he never did it but I really don't see why Lola would just invent an incident like that just to call him out, so I believe her.)

Just hours before That Incident, Vivian was on a Livestream with Soulbunni, fantasizing about JK Rowling getting "dicked down" by a troon:

Vivian Strange: Like, honestly, I think: everybody is really into us. Guys who are into women, are, like... we're amazing. Like, we're practically magical creatures. And also, women as well! Like, a lot of gender fascists, TERFs, the degree to which they are obsessed with us, with transwomen, with, uh, chicks with dicks, as the porn categories say. Um, like, they are OBSESSED with us. Like, JK Rowling is obsessed with girldique, and it's devastating. I don't feel bad for her, but, like, it's so much easier to find a good, nice, pretty girl to, you know, dick you down instead of being a fucking gender fascist.

Keith Caputo pka "Mina" has something to say about people insulting The Queen (yes, he did peaktrans and detransition partially due to TRAs):

The Queen herself speaks out about troons that want "to dick her down": "I've been sent thousands of threats of murder, rape and violence. A trans woman posted my family's home address with a bomb-making guide. My eldest child was targeted by a prominent trans activist who attempted to doxx her and ended up doxxing the wrong young woman."

JKRowlingOnXAboutTRAs.jpg

Vivian, I know you insist that The Incident that Lola described in her testimony supposedly never happened, but I see no reason why Lola would ever make up something like that just to call you out. I believe Lola, and I believe you refuse to talk about what actually happened between you on your birthday in 2023, because you know damn well what your intent was. You intended to guilt-trip Lola into giving you a birthday blowjob, and you know you can't live that down because of how plainly "wicked, selfish and cruel" trying to guilt-trip your best friend into having sex with you really is.

In your de Sade video, you insisted that thinking about fucked up shit won't make you fucked up:

Are you still unwilling to see how you normalizing rape towards a woman you do not personally know but that you apparently consider to be worthy of rape just because of her celebrity status, eventually led to you being rapey towards your own best friend? How your dehumanization of a public figure ("I hope JK Rowling gets raped by a troon, I don't feel bad for her") led to your dehumanization of a woman you personally knew IRL ("I will guilt-trip and manipulate my best friend into having sex me by insisting she was dressing up just to titillate me. I will blame her for causing my ladyboner so she will pity-blow me.")? You can keep lying to yourself and your viewers but there is absolutely a connection there, whether you want to admit it or not.

TaliHowDidItHappen.jpg

It's simple, troon: you respected a woman's boundaries and allowed your fiancee to move at her own pace and in accordance with her own comfort levels. The other troon was entitled and impatient and did not respect her boundaries. That's why you got the girl and he didn't. Just learn to respect women's boundaries generally, not just the women you know personally but all women, and even you troons might find love eventually.

Watching Vivian's 2021 Euphoria video with the benefit of hindsight: "the feelings that exist independently from anyone else, the ones that exist whether they are together or not: the queer feelings"

VivianStrangeEurphoriaRedditPostLadyVStrange.jpg

Before we go over the Euphoria video, let's meet "Magnolak", Vivian's Letterboxd alt.

After abandoning his "Vivian Strange" Letterboxd account, Vivian logged back into his old "Magnolak" account, an account he hasn't used since 2021, where he's currently logging films again. A couple of days ago Vivian was apparently watching Satoshi Kon's Millennium Actress with Serafina.

I don't know what "magnolak" means, and Google is only giving me images of Magnolias. I found this but I don't know if it's relevant.

Anyways, I am glad Vivian is taking some time off from being rapey to enjoy some anime.

HesAnAmerican.jpg

Speaking of anime, an anime troon called Amelie Doree shouted out Vivian in this video, which I had logged at the time but forgot to post here in the thread:

Vivian has often mentioned in videos and Livestreams that he used to have another Youtube channel before the present one.

I found an archived instance of his first channel (Jan 10, 2021) on Archive.org

About a month later on February 1, 2021 Vivian posted a video about the series Euphoria:

The same video was uploaded to Vivian's Vimeo account under the title "How to Feel Something: Euphoria and Queer Salvation":

This video disappeared along with the channel when Vivian had a bout of troonsteria and deleted it.

Vivian reuploaded that 2021 Euphoria video to the present channel on June 4, 2023 and renamed it "What Makes Euphoria So Special To Queer People?"

1,644 views Jun 4, 2023
RE-UPLOAD OF A PREVIOUSLY UNSEEN VIVIAN STRANGE VIDEO!

Happy Pride Month!! Here’s an queer video from my old (now-deleted) channel about EUPHORIA!

Keep in mind, I made this in late 2020/early 2021, so there is absolutely nothing about Season Two or the specials in here. This is just a burgeoning YouTuber’s first attempt at making a video essay. Despite its faults (and my weird 2020 tryhard voice), I hope y’all enjoy it!

Upon reuploading the Euphoria video, Vivian claimed that he shared his old video to celebrate Pride Month... but with everything that has happened and come out since, I personally suspect he reuploaded the video for another reason. I suspect he reuploaded it because he wanted Lola to see it.

What was Vivian doing in the summer of 2024? According to Lola's testimony, Vivian was in the US while Lola was visiting Tali in Ireland. Lola told Vivian that she was in love and wanted to marry Tali eventually, only for Vivian to dismiss her relationship and desire to get married.

In May-June, I flew to Ireland to be with my girlfriend and had some of the best few weeks of my life. We just clicked, everything was so easy, and I knew then that I was more deeply in love than I had ever anticipated being. When Vivian texted me there, I told her I was having an amazing time; feeling refreshed, renewed, and optimistic about life. I told Vivian that someday I would like to marry my girlfriend and move in with her. Vivian asked me if perhaps I was being too optimistic, an unrealistic hopeless romantic. She told me then that she’d prefer not to live with my girlfriend in the future — so again, I began avoiding Vivian. She then texted my friends and asked them to keep tabs on me for her. Some expressed concern to me over this. When Vivian confronted me about my silence, I told her that I didn’t understand or appreciate her disapproval when I was so happily in love; she told me that she just wanted me and my girlfriend to have realistic expectations so that we could actually work out in the long run.

Vivian posted the Euphoria video after the incident with him wanting to sleep in the same bed as Lola had already happened, and after Lola had left the US to visit Tali in Ireland.

So what did Vivian actually have to say about the relationship between Ru and Jules in Euphoria?

Vivian, as someone who prefers drugs over sex and basically only had sex with people to do drugs with them, knows just the thing for someone apprehensive about getting into polyfuckery:

"Under the influence of something that lowers your inhibitions and makes you emotionally vulnerable"

Vivian notices that Rue relapses and does drugs whenever she gets the feels for Jules, or when Jules leaves her behind to move on to greener pastures:

"This scene is wall to wall sapphic tension, and how does Rue respond? (scene where Rue takes drugs) And then, after she kisses Jules, Rue desperately tries and fails to get high again. Likewise, the next time we see her relapse is at the end of the first season, after Jules leaves her alone with only her feelings, feelings that exist in Rue independently of anyone else. Feelings Rue is not ready to acknowledge: the queer ones."

According to Vivian, Jules and Rue's relationship was another one of those "what are we" relationships that Vivian himself just so happened to find himself in with Lola, or so he thought, ("hazy and undefined"), that Rue was "not nearly at the point of self-acceptance to find a place of belonging in the queer community", that Jules being away from Ru would "force her to recon with her queer identity (...) and come to terms with the same feelings that Ru has, the ones that exist whether they are together or not: the queer ones"

"She[Jules] tries dating Ru, although their relationship is hazy and undefined. Neither of them has done this whole dating thing before, especially not with another girl and their inexperience leads to miscommunication, which, as always in relationships, leads to disaster." ... "Now, Jules is being impulsive and a bit selfish here. Ru is not nearly at the point of self-acceptance enough to find a genuine place of belonging in the queer community. But Jules is onto something here. Having to be apart from Ru will force Jules no doubt to recon with her queer identity. She will be compelled to explore and come to terms with the same feelings that Ru has, the ones that exist whether they are together or not: the queer ones."

Later Vivian says that Ru "is not ready for the kind of queer community" that Jules had already joined, and that staying behind out of obligation to her family "will not lead her to euphoria":

"Not to say that Ru is ready for this sort of community yet. She is still at odds with who she is, and whom she wants to be. Caught in a cycle of obligation to her family and loved ones. On the surface, staying may seem like the smart and selfless move, but that will clearly not lead her to euphoria."

So Vivian dug up a video he made years before, about a fictional teenage girl who was in a "what are we" relationship with a troon, who was not ready to accept her queerness... and he re-posted this video just as he was telling Lola that she was was caving into the compulsion to emulate straight norms by wanting to get married.

It's like playing out a script, isn't it?

"At the end of the day, he's just another damaged child. He has hurt everyone in his life, and when there's nowhere else to release his aggression, he targets the only person left to hurt: himself. This is a chilling portrayal of what toxic masculinity does to men. It's utterly haunting and tragic."

There's also this:

"My own experience with the disorder (bipolar)"

Wait, I thought Vivian said he had only been diagnosed with ADHD? Why is Vivian claiming to be bipolar during this part?
(Can a psychiatrist please actually diagnose and confirm Vivian's Cluster B status so we can finally put an end to his self-diagnosing based on which film or series he's been watching and over-identifying with?)

When Lola told Vivian she wanted to marry Tali and move to Cali with him, Vivian responded that he didn't want to be around Lola if that meant having to put up with Tali. Tali disclosed on Bsky that he can't travel to the US because the American embassy in Ireland has turned down his VISA application ("3 years ago america banned me from entry for no particular reason apart from bad vibes."). That means that even if Lola had moved to California with Vivian, Tali couldn't have joined them there anyways because of his VISA issues. (Remember what I said Vivian about how "you can avoid hell by not believing in it, but you cannot avoid jail by not believing in it"? Here you go. This BTW is why LGBT people need access to legal marriage, because legal spousal status is often the only way around such migration issues. You might want to look at the actual practicalities that people face before condemning them for "giving into the straight compulsion to get married because of capitalist brainwashing", you clueless immature twit.) Lola and Tali have since apparently changed their plans due to a new Trump presidency and decided to get engaged in Ireland.

It's interesting to ponder that, if Lola had moved to Cali with Tali but without Vivian, it would've been Vivian himself who would've been left behind in Portland with "the queer feelings" that he insisted Lola couldn't bring herself to acknowledge.

Secret Machines - Alone, jealous and stoned

I am gonna do more of these "with the benefit of hindsight" posts, because, 1) I don't care about Vivian's new Cabaret Voltairine readings where he's LARPing as a black militant revolutionary, and 2) I don't care about the Leftist Cooks insisting that such retrospectives are a pointless exercise. The fact is that Vivian really was constantly telling on himself. Every Letterboxd review that Vivian has ever posted about someone else's film was always and only about himself and whatever was stewing in his crazy mind at the time. I will present some more, at times rather shocking examples of Vivian openly telling on himself on Letterboxd and elsewhere.

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his Letterboxd reviews: Boudoir Troon or, the Immoral Mentor teaches "baby-gay" the ropes of being queer

Here's Vivian in a Letterboxd review waxing about Immoral Mentors (Bourdoir troons like himself) teaching baby-gays the ropes of being queer:

This relationship is a familiar one to us – a newly out queer person who hasn’t become integrated into the community & its culture (yes, despite your judgy Christian parents’ derisiveness about it, queerness is indeed a whole lifestyle; it’s a mode of being that touches every corner of your life, intimate or otherwise. You can’t choose to be gay, but being queer, to belong to a divergent, previously wholly hidden, part of mainstream culture, is very much something you must choose to do). Generally, this “baby gay” (one of many affectionate terms for a fresh-out-the-closet queer or trans person, regardless of age) comes under the wing of one or more queer elders, members of the community who’ve been out for a long time, who shows them the ropes & introduces them to their new family & culture.

As Jane said in his testimony, Vivian was the WORST mentor into queerness because he never respected anyone's boundaries:

I will not deny that for a short period of time I had a crush on Vivian, though I was more intrigued by the very premise of polyamory itself than her as an individual. I also feel that Vivian’s tendency to constantly talk about how attractive she influenced my perception of her. She was most certainly the worst guide into free love as she showed very little respect to any established boundary. She hates anyone who does not give her what she craves-- love, attention, adoration, sex, drugs, etc. even if she previously adored the person. She views everything as transactional and can't process the idea that some actions come from the heart.

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his Letterboxd reviews: there's "something quite romantic about a" filmmakers' commune that turned out to be "a cult in its inception stage"

Remember the quote from Jane's testimony about how associating with Vivian Strange felt like "being indoctrinated into what could only be described as a cult in its inception stage"?

In a way I felt like I was being indoctrinated into what could only be described as a cult in its inception stage, which ended up growing to include my girlfriend Elaine and her friend Aziel, both of which are nine years younger. She attempted to come to know about other friends of ours and expressed annoyance when we wouldn’t share such information. Sometimes I purposefully gave her misinformation about them to throw her off so she would be less involved in my life.

Here's Vivian on Letterboxd fantasizing about having his own The Factory-esque filmmaking collective/commune: "There’s something quite romantic to me about a bunch of friends on the margins just creating art together"

There’s something quite romantic to me about a bunch of friends on the margins just creating art together, especially creating a “trashy” rendition of the glitz & glamour of a world they will never have a place in. Think about Candy, wanting to break out as a movie star. Even though she is discarded & ignored by the Industry, she shines with as much soul as any star in the late sixties (the single best period of worldwide cinematic history), if not mountains more.

(BTW, this Letterboxd review of Women in Revolt offers a unique insight into VIvian's shockingly misogynistic views. You have to appreciate Vivian insisting that feminism is completely irrelevant in this day and age, just as this was happening, and just as his friend Ali Nahdee is posting a new video contemplating sterilization because she is hit with the realization of having lost her bodily autonomy in 21st century America. But I will go over Vivian's Women in Revolt review in a separate post. For now I want to focus on Vivian dreaming of having his own filmmaking commune/cult.)

The idea of Vivian Strange wanting to have his own filmmaking commune with his friends makes sense. After all, his cinematic idol Елеоно́ра Деренко́вська was part of The Film-Makers' Cooperative. Vivian did at one point actually join a filmmakers' collective, namely Proud Mary, the group he wrote White Picket Wives with under his old name of "Vivian Zelda Strong":

About WHITE PICKET WIVES by Vivian Zelda Strong. Directed by Brook A. Nelson. It’s 1953, and Julia Fitzgerald lives the life of every suburban housewife’s dreams. But everything changes when her old friend Lizzie moves in down the street, and sparks feelings in her that Julia had long since denied. As their relationship rekindles under the darkening shadow of McCarthyism, Julia and Lizzie discover the murderous lengths they must go to to defend their forbidden love. TOTALLY FREE, but we always accept PayPal/Credit Card donations.
#spankingbrandnewplays #proudmarytheatre #whitepicketwives

He also joined this other collective, the Catalyst Film Collective, again under his "Zelda" alias:

Vivian Zelda Strong
Director, Screenwriter, Script Supervisor

My name is Vivian Zelda Strong, and I generally go by Zelda. I’m a non-binary trans woman, and my pronouns are she/her. I’ve been writing scripts for years but I’m still pretty new to the more practical production side of filmmaking. I’m eager to learn as much as I possibly can across all areas, as I want to be a director and producer someday. I want to give trans people the mainstream presence we’ve been denied for so long, not by performing and playing to the narratives of cishet society, but by taking charge of or own narratives.

So in the past Vivian had joined two different film collectives while he was still "Zelda", a year before he became "Mys Maya" on Youtube... both of which groups he's no longer associated with and which AFAIK he has never mentioned or talked about on Livestreams. So why is Vivian apparently a "serial joiner" of film collectives that he then abandons never to be mentioned again? Inquiring minds would like to know.

(First Draft of a) Worst Case Scenario

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his Letterboxd reviews: "I do love the idea of a straight-laced housewife falling for a Romani woman who sweeps her off her feet and teaches her about collectivism, anarchy, and lesbianism" (Ohai Tali, did you see this review at the time?)

LolaSebastiansSOIsRomaniWTF.jpg

Here is another admission on Vivian's part of not being Romani himself in a Letterboxd review, referring to himself as "a ugly American with limited knowledge of European Romani" while asking if a certain movie character is "Roma coded". I saw that Vivian has now privated that Livestream where he made the baseless claims about being Dzooish on his mom's side and potentially Romani on his dad's side (DNA test or GTFO). This review plainly shows Vivian getting into the idea of being a gypsy himself due to him wanting to skinwalk Tali, likely because Vivian saw Tali as someone who would teach "the straight-laced" Lola "pro- and transgressive values... about collectivism, anarchy, and lesbianism", an "education" that Vivian obviously would've rather taken upon himself to teach Lola. When Tali decided to marry Lola, Vivian thought he could usurp the role of the "magical minority helping a privileged white woman find herself", further inspired to LARP as Romani by this movie:

But. Question. Was Liliane supposed to be Roma coded? As an ugly American with limited knowledge of European Romani, that’s how she read to me, from the whole “bohemian migrant” lifestyle, pro- and transgressive values, and her racial ambiguity in general.

Don’t get me wrong, I do love the idea of a straight-laced housewife falling for a Romani woman who sweeps her off her feet and teaches her about collectivism, anarchy, and lesbianism. Of course I do, uwu. But I wonder about the potential implications of this. Cause I feel like there’s a fine line between a story about a woman saving her soul with the power of egalitarian chosen community, and a story about a privileged white woman “finding herself” with assistance from a “magical minority.” Roundabout and performatively woke way of saying, I read Liliane as Roma, and this elevated the fuck out of the text.

Tali apparently likes the blues so here's a blues song about liars like Vivian Strange:

The Life And Death Of Mr. Badmouth

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his Letterboxd reviews: "problem isn't that she doesn't wanna experience sexual intimacy; her problem is that she does, but the only framework society has given her for understanding her desires is a toxic one that relies on her being ignorant and afraid of herself"
InappropriateJokesBeauIsAfraidLetterboxd.jpg

(Had to resist the impulse to contrast the above snark from Vivian with what Lola herself actually said about this movie, but I don't want to doxx her, so... just use your imagination. My point is, Vivian was openly complaining about Lola being "ignorant and afraid of herself" even in his Letterboxd reviews about the movies they were watching together on the L-shaped couch in her house. No Vivian, she wasn't "afraid of herself", it was your rapey ass that was giving her the creeps, from the very start. She ignored her instincts ("Vivian was making me uncomfortable but trying to win me over") because she wanted to be a good friend to you and to give you a chance to improve your lot. If only Lola had allowed herself to be afraid around you, it would've spared her a lot of trouble later on. I hope Lola learns to trust her initial gut instincts instead of ignoring them in the name of political correctness. Too many women have died because they thought they could disarm a predator by being nice.)

And if you're wondering why Vivian Strange was gaslighting Lola, telling her that she "doesn't understand herself"...

I began to open up to her about my inner world more and more, including discussions of queerness, sexuality, etc — which, as per usual, she interpreted as a come on. She kept insisting that I was polyamorous but didn’t really know it. She said that if I understood anything about relationship anarchy, I could begin to understand myself. My girlfriend and I remain, as we always have been, happily monogamous. I felt as though every time I tried to empathize with Vivian’s perspective or learn more about it, she would insist that I was reciprocating her advances. When I told her about other friends I have who are polyamorous, she’d suggest I was expressing interest.

Vivian apparently thinks that women cannot possibly know what they actually want because society keeps them stupid about sex, therefore women are never truly consenting... which in Vivian's case becomes a great excuse to ignore the question of consent altogether, because how can a stupid woman kept stupid ever know if she's really consenting? She can't, so consent doesn't matter because it can never be conscious or intentional. Consent is just too complex of a concept for the average stupid woman to wrap her stupid little mind around. Only Bedroom Philosophers like Vivian can ponder such advanced concepts, surely not the average stupid woman who only knows what she wants only because society has told her what to want:

Reducing Teeth down to an exploration of consent greatly short-changes it - consent is just an extension of the core problem: kids aren't taught anything constructive or healthy or...like, true about their bodies and so they don't understand the things they're experiencing. Dawn's problem isn't that she doesn't wanna experience sexual intimacy; her problem is that she does, but the only framework society has given her for understanding her desires is a toxic one that relies on her being ignorant and afraid of herself, both her mind and her changing body.
...

The problem is, the whole situation winds up being...not great. No details, but while yes, Ryan does try to make her feel comfortable, the specifics of the situation can at best be described as manufacturing consent. The line is fuzzy, and that's the point. Cause again, it isn't that Dawn doesn't want sexual intimacy (Ryan woulda gotten his dick bit the first time if she didn't), but she's enmeshed from the beginning in a context in which she cannot entirely freely consent.

https://letterboxd.com/vivian_strange/film/teeth/ Archived: https://archive.is/IWFqW

"he's enmeshed from the beginning in a context in which she cannot entirely freely consent", and thus Vivian's conclusion is that consent doesn't matter, because consent is inherently unattainable in such a context and women are just too damn stupid to understand that their pearl-clutching "consent" is an unattainable fiction. You "cannot entirely freely consent" according to some absolutist standard of "true consent realness" that the Bedroom Philosopher has declared as the benchmark for you, so, fuck consent.

And since consent is inherently unfree and unattainable, you can magic-think your way out of this conundrum, you can "manufacture consent" and convince yourself you're consenting even when you're not (read: doing drug to appear more dis-inhibited than you actually are). Vivian damn well knows what Blurred Lines and "manufacturing consent"/being rapey are (and declaring consent an unattainable fiction due to "society" is certainly part of that mindfuck, because no single person can do anything about "society", people can only decide what they personally are comfortable with), he just doesn't give a fuck about getting genuine consent as long as he's the one benefiting from the "manufactured consent" instead.

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his Letterboxd reviews: "Monogamy is indeed for straight people."

Here's something else that Vivian posted on Letterboxd, very likely after Lola had visited Tali in Ireland and told Vivian she wanted to marry Tali:

Monogamy is indeed for straight people.

This was posted on July 20, 2023 presumably while Lola was still in Ireland with Tali. The snark of this comment in the context of Lola's timeline at this point should be obvious.

Contrast the above snark to Vivian's original Shortbus review the first time he watched it, where he gave it 5 stars and said it made him cry:

Shortbus 2006

Watched Feb 27, 2023

Vivian Strange’s review published on Letterboxd:

I'm rewatching this movie later today, cause it might be a five-star one, but I need to be sure. But I sobbed no less than four times throughout.

So Vivian used his Letterboxd account to make it implicitly known that he views Tali and Lola as a straight couple - in which case, congratulations, you've finally broken your gender cult conditioning, you will make a good gender fascist from now on - and he used his Letterboxd account to openly complain about Lola's marriage wish. He wasn't just disparaging Lola in DMs for wanting to get married, he was openly being dismissive on Letterboxd. He knew Lola would read this review and, in the context of their DMs in private, realize that this review was about whatever she had just told him. "Lola, you're behaving like a straight person by wanting to get married", I guess there's no bigger insult in the gender cult that Lola, Tali and Vivian all belong to than to accuse someone of "behaving straight".

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his Letterboxd reviews - The Lonely Island teaches a teenage Vivian "Dorian" to blame his ladyboner on others: "Mainly your fault for the way that you dress/Don't tell anyone or I'll say you're slut"

Here is the real reason Vivian Strange desperately needed Lola's "help" with his ladyboner:

Bo’s jokes work differently than his contemporaries’ did. In addition to being easily impressed with absurd joke rap (“Jizz in My Pants” was one of my first introductions to the culture of the internet, and you would not believe how hard it was to type that out), we had particularly cruel sensibilities when it came to the things we would joke about.

He just didn't want to jizz in his pants.

The Lonely Island - Jizz In My Pants

"Mainly your fault for the way that you dress, don't tell your friends or I'll say you're a slut, I'm very affectionate, some would say that's a plus. To be fair, you were flirting a lot, plus the way you DM got me bothered and hot. Please stop acting like you're not impressed.", that's basically Vivian's whole blame script right there. Vivian learned how to play the blame game from the pros.

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his Letterboxd reviews: "If fidelity is any sort of priority in adaptation, we'd've gotten to see Christopher Lee's dick squeeze right into that other guy's ass.", "And don't be a timid coy little bitch about the sexuality and the violence"

When the Bedroom Philosopher complained that movie a adaptation of de Sade just wasn't cerebral enough for his genius:

THAT BEING SAID. I fucking haaaaate what this movie did to my 18th-century incarcerated French boyfriend's baby. Sade deserves better, and Philosophy in the Bedroom deserves better too. (yes, Vivian is such a necrophile, when he's not in Ghaza with Bisan in his crazy head, he's in a limerent love affair across the ages with de Sade, in case you thought Emilie Autumn having a necrophilic crush on 17th century composer Felix Mendelssohn was already demented)

Of all the people who are familiar enough with Sade to talk openly about how they're fans of his work, 90% of them are these skeevy straight guys (and they are always guys) who, like Not-My-Chevalier says in the film: "Sade is so misunderstood."

...THOSE people are the ones who most misunderstand Sade and his writings. And Jesus Franco is one of those stupid cocky perverts.

Philosophy in the Bedroom is a dense and transgressive piece of philosophical fiction, filled with heavy discussion and discourse interspersed with scenes of graphic hardcore sex. The relationships between the characters, especially between Eugenie and her mother, are interesting and nuanced and what gives the text its vitality and vividity, along with Sade's incisive satire and dark comedy,

This movie sucked up all that energy, all those ideas, all those complexities, everything that makes Philosophy in the Bedroom the work of artistic merit it is, ALL OF THAT, and shat out this shiny Technicolor turd.

There's no philosophy! Not a whit of thought or introspection, no sophistries whatsoever. Just colors and tits and vibes.

For those of you who have never read Bourdoir Philosopher, it contains such gems of wisdom which are clearly lost on anyone who's ever donated coke money to one of Vivian's scammy GoFundMes:

“DOLMANCE — In this world there is nothing dangerous but pity and beneficence; goodness is never but a weakness of which the ingratitude and impertinence of the feeble always force honest folk to repent. Let a keen observer calculate all of pity's dangers, and let him compare them with those of a staunch, resolute severity, and he will see whether the former are not the greater. But we are straying, Eugénie; in the interests of your education, let's compress all that has just been said into this single word of advice: Never listen to your heart, my child; it is the most untrustworthy guide we have received from Nature; with greatest care close it up to misfortune's fallacious accents; far better for you to refuse a person whose wretchedness is genuine than to run the great risk of giving to a bandit, to an intriguer, or to a caballer: the one is of a very slight importance, the other may be of the highest disadvantage”
― Marquis de Sade, Philosophy in the Boudoir

Hey, I am starting to think I might like this book, LMAOOO!

But what does Vivian actually have in mind when he says he wants to see a more cerebral movie?

Also, is it just me or do the kind of cinematic portrayals of sex and sexuality fill the runtimes of these trashy excuses for erotic film kinda suck? Apparently Christopher Lee wasn't even aware the movie was a softcore porn until after he saw it.

Bro. This character was DOLMANCE. Do you even KNOW your source material? The guy playing Dolmance not knowing that should be impossible. Shit, if fidelity is any sort of priority in adaptation, we'd've gotten to see Christopher Lee's dick squeeze right into that other guy's ass. Instead, we get the laziest cheapest and most boring possible dilution of what should be an explicit and intelligent philosophical fuck-fest of a cinematic masterpiece.

If you're going to try to adapt Sade, my advice. Actually fucking READ the goddamn material. And don't be a timid coy little bitch about the sexuality and violence. You're adapting Sade! Be ACTUALLY transgressive, yeah?

Everyone is just body parts for Vivian: "She got dick", "I met neovaginas", "we'd've gotten to see Christopher Lee's dick squeeze right into that other guy's ass.".

Imagine having an actor of this caliber at your disposal as a filmmaker, and all you want to do is watch him buttfuck. For such a Bedroom Philosopher, I really don't think Vivian wants anyone else's brains getting in the way of his creepy rapey.

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his Letterboxd reviews - Vivian reacts to A Visit from the Incubus by Anna Biller: "I would let this woman chain me to a radiator in her basement & use me in whatever culty rituals or weird experiments she wanted."

Anna Biller is an intelligent, talented, feminist filmmaker, currently working on The Face of Horror in England, who resents the misogynistic portrayal of women in many popular movies. Much of Film Youtube first discovered her work after Nyk mentioned watching The Love Witch in a couple Livestreams around the time he trooned out in 2017, including Youtuber Kyle Kallgren whom Vivian follows and was able to bum a voice recording from for his first de Sade video.

The Cinematography of THE LOVE WITCH

When Vivian finally encounters an actual feminist filmmaker, you'll never guess how he responds to her work:

First, Anna Biller is someone whose art reminds me how terribly stunted the film industry is; THIS is indicative of how vast & magnificent the medium’s potential is – just give artists like Biller a shitload of money & say “go wild” & you’re gonna start putting out some good shit. Second, my god, I would let this woman chain me to a radiator in her basement & use me in whatever culty rituals or weird experiments she wanted.
...
Go watch her 2016 feature, The Love Witch! It's like this but naked & on acid & muscle relaxers.

"I've been having nightmares"
"... or have they been having you?"

Like I said, with the benefit of hindsight...

Quoting from Lola's testimony again:

"I began to suspect she was taking photos of me, touching me, or kissing me in my sleep — so at one sleepover, I pretended to be asleep to see what would happen. I felt her kiss me and touch my hair and clothes, as well as her presence hovering above me as if she were taking photos."

You mean like this Lola?

So Vivian hates sex cults, claims he was raped by a sex cult, according to Jane Vivian rather wanted to launch his own sex club, but Anna Bilder's movie about the Incubus makes Vivian want to be a in sex cult with Biller? Gotta LMAO and SMDH at Vivian speculating that it must've been a lot of work for Anna Biller to make her movies like Incubus (he has no idea and doesn't care.) Vivian watched the movies of a feminist fimmaker whose work is all about the dangers of a narc's obsessive love, and all Vivian had to say is: "I sooo wanna bang this female director!"

THE LOVE WITCH will NOT bang you if you talk & text at the movies.

So Nyk was obsessed with The Love Witch for a while, he even changed the wallpaper of his house in Baltimore at the time to match the wallpaper used in the film, but Nyk immediately soured on Anna Biller when he realized that her movies weren't meant to be a pastiche or camp, they weren't meant to be a joke for troons like him to gawk and laugh at silly women being crazy obsessed, and that Biller was actually serious about getting a message across about women's lives, and doing so in movies that would be beautifully made to appeal to women.

Nyk apparently thought this woman was "just joking", and I do wonder if Vivian will still want to join a sex cult with Biller after reading her thoughts on artistic depictions of sexualized violence against women:

She explores how these artists, traumatized by World War I, sublimated their anxieties about war-torn, mutilated soldiers' bodies onto women, especially prostitutes, whom they depicted mutilated and disemboweled in numerous gruesome artworks. Tatar cites numerous sources to back up her claims that these artists resented women, who remained intact at home while the male soldiers were subjected to senseless violence and mutilation. And they were especially resentful and envious of women's life-giving powers, seeking to symbolically destroy the bodies of women in order to create a more meaningful, durable, spiritual life in their canvases, films, and novels.
...
But I discovered, on reading Tatar's marvelous book, that Dix and Grosz in fact created self-portraits of themselves as sexual murderers—as Bluebeards! Then I had a dizzying moment where I realized that my interest in this theme didn't come just from the fairy tale; images of dead women had been firing my imagination even before I was able to read.
Why do we have a cultural fascination with dead women? Why are images of dead and mutilated women so normalized? This casual attitude about images of dismembered women is accurately summarized by a Brian De Palma quote Tatar uses at the start of her first chapter: "I don't particularly want to chop up women but it seems to work."
...

One of the most fascinating parts of Tatar's analysis is when she talks about
how persistently art historians ignore and efface the graphically brutal depictions of murdered women in artworks, focusing instead on the aesthetic and formal qualities of the work, or on biographical details of the artist. In a gruesome parallel, she recounts how serial murderers at the time were indirectly excused for their crimes by journalists, who focused instead on the killer's poverty or suffering, or on the public's hysteria. Karl Denke, for example, was said to have murdered and eaten his victims because of poverty: "the pots of fat and tubs of preserved human flesh in Denke's kitchen were evidently there because he needed the food." Worse, the victims were often blamed for the crimes committed against them (as Jews were often blamed for the acts of Nazi perpetrators), since murderous rage against loose, vulgar, mothering, or controlling women was seen as normal and natural.

Lustmord blog entry by Anna Biller

(are you still wondering why Vivian inevitably returns to the Lustmord of de Sade after daily hoarding Ghaza gore for over a year? "these artists, traumatized by World War I, sublimated their anxieties about war-torn, mutilated soldiers' bodies onto women, especially prostitutes, whom they depicted mutilated and disemboweled in numerous gruesome artworks")

Somehow I don't think you're Biller's type, Vivian.

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his Letterboxd reviews: "the film goes out of its way to have her still 'get the girl' in the end in a weird creepy & entirely inappropriate way", "And as insult to injury, this bitch learns nothing at all. The video ends with her working on her next Youtube video."

As an aside, Vivian apparently really hates giallo movies... but then he goes and praises a movie like Strange Darling which is just more of the same, just 60 years after the fact with digital means, American actors and a bit of BDSM thrown in for the Lustmord pornsickos in the audience. If a typical Giallo is "bloody and pulpy", what's Strange Darling then? Why is Strange Darling constantly compared to Tarantino as a kind of praise? It's literally just Americanized giallo, just like Tarantino movies are:

The worst thing about it all though, is how I've heard queer people embrace it. Like...is this offensive trash what we're accepting? Are we so desperate we'll take whatever chokable bones they throw down at us? This is the 20s!! We don't have to put up with this shit. If you're queer & you liked this movie & got something out of it, then allow me to say your entitled to your opinion, of course, & art is subjective & all that jazz. But also, I think your opinion is misguided, foolish, & kinda outright stupid & harmful. But like, if you're one of them, please comment on this review & explain what it is to me. What is this movie's worth? Cause if all you have to say is to mechanically moan "giallo" like an overconfident film school freshman, that shit ain't good enough. Giallo served its purpose. It gave us some really pretty pieces & shards of technique & style we can take today & make actual good cinema with, but that's it folks. Get what we need from it & let the past die. And let this movie die even sooner.

"And as insult to injury, this bitch learns nothing at all.", indeed, if only Vivian had the self-awareness to realize that statement is actually about him:

And even reading some elements as deliberate, being charitable at best, if the movie was trying to comment on how the whole exploitation of tragedy thing is fucked-up, it did the piss-poorest job of it since Crash took on racism. Yeah, I'm fucking going there. And as insult to injury, this bitch learns nothing at all. The movie ends with her working on her next movie. And that brings me to the most infuriating part of this whole thing.

Remember Vivian's limerent love letter where he tells Bisan he will meet her after death in heaven?

And right when it seems like the bitch is about to get what's hers, Lois comes out of nowhere & IS FUCKING KILLED FOR HER. She sacrifices herself to save the woman who sexually assaulted her like, 24 hours before, tops. Oh, it gets worse, you say? Oh yes. Because while she's shooting her next movie at the very end, she has a kissy reconciliation with what I''m guessing is Lois's spirit. Yeah. This movie completely lets her off the hook for it. Not only that, the film goes out of its way to have her still "get the girl" in the end in a weird creepy & entirely inappropriate way. It's sickening, & the movie isn't self-aware about any of this in the SLIGHTEST.

"the film goes out of its way to have her still "get the girl" in the end in a weird creepy & entirely inappropriate way", and your open love letter to Bisan where you tell her you will meet her in heaven after she dies, that's not likewise "creepy and entirely inappropriate"?

It's like Vivian knows he's so insufferable, the only people who will put up with him are the dead. Vivian cannot bring himself to love living people who can think for themselves and disagree with him, he can only have limerent love affairs with ghosts who never talk back.

Zior Park - GHOST

Now with the benefit of foresight - Vivian Strange still telling on himself in his new Letterboxd reviews - Vivian Strange wants to bang his therapist now - Vivian reviews Megalopolis: "I am utterly divesting from entertainment and pop culture." (Then go ahead and post all of your "genius" Covid screenplays, coward.)

Someone please contact Samara Weaving and tell her to pre-emptively block Vivian Strange on literally everywhere:

This movie’s an absolute mess. Cheap indulgent softcore ; subtly misogynist, not-so-subtly ableist, and weirdly homophobic; interesting but terribly executed premise; genderweird text that refuses to commit;!dialogue that palpably made me cringe; utter trainwreck. Buuuut the first half — the good half — is basically your standard lurid unethical therapist fantasy porn (nonderogatory) and not only does he act circles around everybody else in this movie, but Judah Lewis is also really hot now. So what can I say, I really enjoyed this one

(Also, this film would be a masterpiece if the lead role was played by Samara Weaving instead of Annie Blackburn.)

What you're seeing here is "a genderweird text that won't commit":

Vivian Strange also just watched Coppola's Megalopolis (which, in his case means it has been pirated):

I tried watching this in the comfort of my own home, and I still walked out on it.

I am not exaggerating when I say that watching this film made me embarrassed both as a cinephile and on behalf of the entire artistic medium of cinema. the only positive thing to come out of this wretched experience is that I have never felt more vindicated in my decision to utterly divest from entertainment and pop culture.

I would like to publicly propose that we launch every director born before 1980 into the Sun posthaste.

Yeah, I bet this really embarrassed you, Vivian, you should be embarrassed at watching people who are serious about making movies actually make them, while you're stewing about home with your GFM-subsidized cocaine addiction and your Ghaza gore folders:

So Vivian is "divesting completely from entertainment and pop culture", unless it's to watch and log movies about banging your therapist.

If you're telling the truth about completely divesting, then go ahead and post all those "genius" screenplays you wrote during Covid, coward. You just admitted you're never gonna make them into movies anyway, so post receipts or admit you lied about being a screenwriter to rope people who didn't fact-check your claims into following you.

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his old Letterboxd reviews - A Life Amongst Ghosts: Vivian's obsession with "Phantom Ladies" - Vivian thinks that having limerent love affairs with women you can't have IRL supposedly proves you're really trans aksually

In this unintentionally hilarious Dune review, Vivian claims that Paul Atreides is trans aksually, and proceeds to list the evidence for this utterly ridiculous premise. He also lays out his theory about "Phantom Ladies" and how men having limerent love affairs with women they can never hope to have IRL somehow proves they're not pathetic insufferable incels but really trans aksually:

And while I'm at it, I should do my obligatory "point out how everything is trans & queer & genderfucked" cause Paul is...yeah, Paul's a trans girl. Consider:

a) played by Timothee Chalamet (that twink is prettier by the day. I've never had a force-fem fantasy before, until I watched this movie)
b) was "supposed" to be a girl
c) passed a test that only women have ever passed
d) no one has more mommy issues than trans women, and this is a mama's boy a Viennese 20th-century psychiatrist would get a triple book deal for.
d) sees his "Phantom Lady"*** in his dreams, and she's ZENDAYA (who incidentally does have a bit of a history playing eggy directors' feminized self-inserts already ;) ).
e) Google "femboys 2021" and see how long it takes you to find this broody space-age Lauren of Arabia motherfucker.
f) Duncan Idaho. Just consider him. Duncan. Idaho.

***most eggy "soft-boiled" stories feature a "Pursuit for the Impossible Feminine"-type plot device or character, one that I call the "Phantom Lady." Laura Palmer, Daisy Buchanan, Dolores Haze, Shakespeare's Dark Lady, Anne Frank (as told by Jeff Mangum), Paprika, Justine, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Liv Ulmann, Grace Kelly, the girl from I'm Thinking of Ending Things, you get the idea.

https://letterboxd.com/vivian_strange/film/dune-2021/ Archive: https://archive.is/nDScY

So the "pursuit for the Impossible Feminine" (aka limerence, but Vivian doesn't know this term, despite insisting he's smarter than the therapists who treat people who suffer from exactly this type of delusion) makes a man an egg... and not an incel obsessing over women he can never have IRL because he's pathetic and insufferable narc, and limerence is all he can hope for, as a kind of symbolic possession of unattainable women.

Literally every heterosexual male character in a movie trying to "get the princess" is an egg according to Vivian:

First though, Gary Valentine. For him, Alana is a personal archetype called one's "Phantom Lady" (cribbed from Neil Jordan's Breakfast on Pluto). A "Phantom Lady" is an idealized feminine figure that many boys and young closeted transfemmes psychologically generate and project onto other girls, usually never ending well unless the "don't romanticize other people" lesson is learned quickly.

https://letterboxd.com/vivian_strange/film/licorice-pizza/ Archive: https://archive.is/D1JjI

Again, there is a term for having imaginary love affairs with "Phantom Ladies" you desperately hope to meet in heaven after they're dead, it's called limerence, and it's a delusion that comes with the anxious attachment style. If you desperately desire someone you can't have IRL because they're out of your league, at the other side of the world, in a war zone, whatever, that doesn't mean you're trans, it means you're too pathetic and insufferable for the people directly around you in your proximity to bother with, so you obsess over people who are unavailable to you so as to never have to face your IRL undesirability. Trooning out is not going to help you with this delusional bullshit, only years and years of therapy might. But Vivian thinks he's too clever for therapists, so he will continue to weaponize his troon status to obsess over women who IRL want nothing to do with him. Leave Samara Weaving alone you creep.

With the benefit of hindsight - Vivian Strange telling on himself in his old Letterboxd reviews, over and over again - Vivian admits he wants to bang the "hot lesbian roommate" over "that softboy she bagged" - "a confused heterosexual whose relationship with her best friend is crumbling because she's in lesbians with her and doesn't know how to deal with it" - "You give me sweet gay babies and then callously ripped apart" - "how about she grows a fucking spine and sets some boundaries instead of just fucking off trying to escape"

Wherein Vivian reveals what he was planning to do to Lola once they moved to LA as roommates, that is, before Lola told him she wanted Tali to move in with them: "if it were me, I'd've just stayed in town and slept with my hot lesbian roommate"

It's not my type of humor, cause I'm particuarly sensitive to...well, everything, but especially awkwardness. Fuck awkward silences, I chatter the fuck through an awkward silence. Shit, I'd dodge those doofuses at the dance & charm those parents so good they'd make their son marry me. Exceept if it were me, I'd've just stayed in town and slept with my hot lesbian roommate. Speaking of which, this girl was so fucking adorable. She could've done sooo much better than that softboy she bagged. Like, for instance, her hot lesbian roommate. What was I talking about?

https://letterboxd.com/vivian_strange/film/loves-of-a-blonde/ Archived: https://archive.is/SNMsL

It literally doesn't get any more obvious than this. Or does it? Literally a single day later, Vivian posted this:

Watched Oct 17, 2021
Speaking of gal pals, this is a movie about being a confused heterosexual whose relationship with her best friend is crumbling because she's in lesbians with her and doesn't know how to deal with it.

https://letterboxd.com/vivian_strange/film/butter-on-the-latch/ Archived: https://archive.is/c65t7

Both these reviews were in October of 2021. I don't know if Vivian and Lola had already become "gurlpals" at this point. Lola wrote in her testimony: "Vivian and I started talking online around January of 2022.", so I'll assume these reviews were posted before Vivian even knew about Lola or her channel. Regardless, these reviews IMO reveal "the end goal" that Vivian was working towards with Lola and other Youtubers he was chatting up in DMs. Even before he had ever met Lola or seen anyone else's content, Vivian was already dreaming of a transbian roommate he could bang, and of confused heterosexual women who don't know how to deal with their transbian crushes.

As for the cult stuff, three days later Vivian posted:

Watched Oct 20, 2021
This is the most horrifying movie I’ve ever seen. It hits faaaaar too close to home. Trans, queer. The vulnerability of marginalized and traumatized people to religious cults. I had to split my viewing into two nights cause it gave me multiple panic attacks on the first one.

So there you go: literally all the things that would become fixations of Vivian's within a year of meeting his new Youtube friends - banging your lesbian roommate, "the vulnerability of marginalized and traumatized people to cults" - these themes were all right there in his film reviews a year prior to meeting those people. Vivian was already into these things before he met his victims, oh, I mean the "sweet gay babies" that Vivian was going to "save" from being forced into comphet relationships:

Watched Oct 29, 2021
And oh yeah, that gaybait shit? Fuck that noise. I was pissed, cause they really had me going. And y’know what? That woulda been a better story, all across the board. Rich girl doesn’t wanna marry the louse because, um, she could be gay? That’s so much more compelling. And it woulda been better character enrichment than dead hologram dad, which, what?

You give me sweet gay babies and then callously ripped apart only for one to either die or be forced into a comphet relationship

If Lola and Vivian had moved to LA as originally planned, Vivian would've tried to bang her. The only reason Vivian never attempted to do that in Portland is because Lola was living with her parents, so Vivian tried to guilt-trip Lola into having sex with him, but Lola asserted herself and kicked him out. Vivian wanted to move to LA with Lola, not because he was seriously considering a film career (he had already made several videos during their friendship admitting he didn't want to make mainstream films anymore because he didn't want to put his alleged scripts through development and thus "compromise"), but because he wanted to get Lola away from her parents so he could have his way with her. The whole "I'm a screenwriter, I wrote like three genius screenplays during the Covid lockdown" thing was just some bullshit Vivian told about himself online to lure Lola and others into believing he was serious about films.

Oh, and remember the part where Vivian tried to gaslight Lola that it was her own fault he was lusting after her because Lola was supposedly so bad at setting boundaries? ("She has for the past year characterized me as a poor communicator, someone who never sets proper boundaries or defines relationships.") Check this out, seems like this accusation of not others setting boundaries (that Vivian himself was constantly "deconstructing"/eroding) was already a convenient go-to for Vivian: "how about she grows a fucking spine and sets some boundaries instead of just fucking off trying to escape"

This bitch is privileged enough to be in a FASHION school in LONDON. SOHO, LONDON. Her teacher thinks she's brilliant, and yeah, Jocasta's a cunt, but like, how about she grows a fucking spine and sets some boundaries instead of just fucking off trying to escape. Or she could have maybe focused on the LITERAL FUCKING ANGEL who wanted to be her friend instead of hyperfixating on the one person needling her.

The moral of Ellie's story is, hey, maybe you would've had an easier time of things if you had actually TALKED to people in the world around you, instead of feeling bad for yourself and getting wrapped up in the glamor and drama of your sixties dreams.

https://letterboxd.com/vivian_strange/film/last-night-in-soho/ Archived: https://archive.is/YQjbS

If only you talked to the LITERAL FUCKING ANGEL who threatened to doxx your DMs as soon as you tried to warn others about his rapey creepy, which he still tries to justify by getting wrapped up in the drama and political hysteria of his early 20th century anarchy dreams.

To conclude, Vivian Strange has apparently privated his "Power, Pleasure, and the Marquis de Sade" video (you can see it as a privated video at the very top of this playlist). I don't know what this means or what prompted this. To make myself feel better, I'll assume Vivian went and read that Lustmord blog entry by Anna Biller I linked to and saw the error of his ways.

Vivian, who has nothing new or original to say, is reduced to "remixing" his old videos - With the benefit of hindsight: watching an old Livestream where Vivian was hoping to bum a voice sample from ContraPoints to use in his second de Sade video

No one wants to bother with Vivian's low-effort videos of him reading anarchism agitprop, so now he's reduced remixing his old videos hoping to regain some of his old momentum:

We Need to Talk About the Marquis de Sade (Side A) [POST-CANCELLATION REMIX]

This video was originally published on July 14th, 2023. A lot has happened since then. A lot of change, a lot of masks flying off. But thankfully, I managed to salvage Side A of my magnum opus, correct the errors in the original cut, and guess what -- it's actually a MUCH better video now! I hope y'all enjoy this remix!

And if events this past fall are any indication, most of y'all didn't actually watch this video or listen to anything it's saying. Well, here's your second chance. Pay attention this time, yeah?

(also, the release date for Side B will be revealed at the end)

Let's go over the description:

This video was originally published on July 14th, 2023.

In other words, this video was posted right after and in response to Lola telling Vivian she wanted to marry Tali. He gaycelled so hard that Lola chose another troon over him, that he published a two-hour rant about de Sade, because that was surely gonna make Lola change her mind, LMAO!

A lot has happened since then.

Yeah, like you losing all your best friends and Youtube associates, giving yourself secondary PTSD by binging Ghaza gore videos, developing a cocaine addiction, scamming $20k off of people on GoFundMe with lies about being evicted, spending the money on rent and groceries instead and STILL not moving. You also decided to LARP as a radical militant - despite admitting you're too nervous and anxious to attend an actual protest - reading other people's essays because you have nothing original of your own to say. Now you're reduced to "remixing" your old videos by deleting all the voice samples that other Youtubers had given you at the time to help you grow your channel. This is how you repay them for helping you: by deleting their voices and pretending you never knew them, because you think you can just filter your existence.

A lot of change, a lot of masks flying off.

The only one who wore a mask to endear himself to people was you. As for "change", there has been no change in your life, other than your cocaine addiction and your new-found hobby of scamming people on GoFundMe with lies about getting evicted. Unless you want to include "destroying your Youtube channel" in the category of "change", then there's been that change I suppose.

But thankfully, I managed to salvage Side A of my magnum opus,

LMAO, what do you mean "salvage"? It was always there on your channel, silly!

correct the errors in the original cut,

Wow, he literally refers to his former best friends and Youtube associates as "errors" now? I bet the feeling is mutual Vivian, I bet they too now think that associating with you was a grave error in judgement.

and guess what -- it's actually a MUCH better video now! I hope y'all enjoy this remix!

Yeah, I bet it's a much better video, now that it no longer reminds you of all the friendships and associations you've ruined. You can just delete them out of your videos and pretend those people never existed in your life or contributed towards your success. "Who would want to live in reality/On the fringes of a negative periphery."

And if events this past fall are any indication, most of y'all didn't actually watch this video or listen to anything it's saying. Well, here's your second chance. Pay attention this time, yeah?

I did listen to this video, Vivian. Half of it is you unable to prounce the French name "Donatien" mispronouncing it as "Dough-Nation", while saying delusional shit like: "Me being under lockdown during Covid in the comfort of my own home, watching BreadTube videos all day while doing drugs on the government's dime, that is totally the same thing as de Sade locked up in a dungeon in the 17th century awaiting capital punishment by the Revolutionaries for actual crimes against people, because they saw him as a turncoat elite who was lying about doing a 180 on his aristocratic values, which he only did because he feared the expropriation of his assets.". This conflation of yourself with de Sade is plainly nonsensical and a symptom of your narcissistic self-importance and self-victimization narrative. I know your relentlessly fetishize captivity despite admitting you have never actually been to jail, but the fact is that you are merely fantasizing about something you have never experienced first-hand.

Also, de Sade was already published author when he was jailed, which you are definitely not, because you're still too cowardly to show us those alleged "genius film scripts" that you claim you wrote during Covid - one of which is allegedly you trooning out The Ring:

Also, I'd be failing at my job as a Strange Cinemagician if I didn't mention that Sadako/Samara is a canonically intersex character. It doesn't really do her any good, but it's a thing. Yeah, if you thought the movies were messed up, go read about the books.

(what's that? a problematic representation of a genderqueered character in a work of horror? Oh dear, well lets hope Maya doesn't fixate on this and spent too much time writing out a whole goddamn script of a remake/adaptation of the Ring that casts the spirit in a radically different & sympathetic light. Oh no.)

https://letterboxd.com/vivian_strange/film/ring-1998/1/ Archived: https://archive.is/t9mY2

That's how original and "genius" you are to be ripping off other people's films, despite not knowing anything about Japanese culture. You have not a single original thought or idea in your head, that's why you write trooned out fanfic based on other people's stories and characters.

The other half of the video is you encouraging men to commit incest-rape by literally fucking their own sisters, telling them to not worry about getting their sister pregnant (literally quoting from this review on Letterboxd where you said the exact same thing), despite the fact that you yourself admitted you got a woman pregnant as a teenager because you couldn't even be bothered with using a condom.

"Do you think that your cock, that engorges like a snake, gives a damn about her being your sister?"

The film doesn't condemn the incest. Rather, it compels it. Mariano is not framed as a villain or malevolent being, but as a "holy fool." He's a trickster-clown-type who, like We Are the Flesh itself, doesn't wish to cause us harm, but rather to dispel our illusions and dissolve our defenses, to show us that, "guess what? society is a shared delusion. all of our pretenses are made up and a matter of our silly self-conscious narcissism. Does it feel good to fuck your sister? It's the end of the world, fuck it, just do what feels good.""

"There is no such thing as love. Only demonstrations of love."

I love the part where Fauna "drips" onto his face, because in addition to simply being fucking hilarious, it serves as a message to both Lucio and the audience addressing the unspoken foundation of the incest taboo itself: "Bro, chill. I'm not pregnant. We're not gonna have weird deformed apocalypse incest babies. Get the fuck over yourself."

https://letterboxd.com/vivian_strange/film/we-are-the-flesh/1/ Archived: https://archive.is/4pcJv

You treat incest and teenage pregnancy as a joke because this is you shamelessly doubling down on your narcissistic recklessness and irresponsibility, by encouraging others to be just as reckless and irresponsible as you were. No wonder Elaine and Jane grew utterly disgusted with you, since you openly advocate for incest. They finally realized how actually twisted you are for urging them to fuck their female relatives, you sociopath. I bet that unspeakable thing that you told Lola that she couldn't even bring herself to repeat in her testimony, I bet that was related to your incest-advocacy in this video.

I hope your parents watch this video and realize they need to keep you away from your (now) 16 year old sister forever. Given the views expressed here I personally consider you a clear and present danger to her, and I hope they realize this before it's too late. The only person who went "mask-off" here is you.

You sound obnoxious, that's why people didn't want to listen to two-hours of your self-aggrandizing, self-pitying sermon about how de Sade was totally innocent y'all, he never heard nobody, all these prostitutes were lying about him torturing and poisoning them, and he totally didn't denounce his aristocratic values our of pure opportunism, because the Revolutionaries saw him for what he was, an abusive aristocrat like all the other ones they hated and decapitated, so they wanted to send him to the guillotine and confiscate his properties. You are so fucking naive if you think there was any other reason de Sade appeared to do a 180 on his aristocracy, other than plain opportunism and the fear of losing all his properties and his own head because of the Revolution.

(also, the release date for Side B will be revealed at the end)

Oh great, another two hours of Vivian feeling sorry for himself, advocating incest while pretending that de Sade was some anarchist prototype and not an aristocrat turncoat who just lied his way out of the guillotine. Let me guess: Vivian is going to wax on about Justine and Juliette being Sadean heroines that all women should want to emulate, but he won't go into these two characters being an obvious manifestation of de Sade's Madonna/Whore Complex even once.

Vivian, why don't you just make a video about Andrew Tate and really blow up your channel? You know he's basically the contemporary de Sade, don't you? Andrew Tate too tricked his dumbfuck simps into believing he was arrested because of some government conspiracy against him for speaking out about the New World Order, and not because of actual crimes on his part. If you believe all the bullshit myth-making around de Sade, why don't you believe the Andrew Tate mythos too? Clearly you have no capacity for actual critical thinking. Andrew Tate could use a loyal troon on his team, he might even fly you over to Romania and get you to meet his human trafficked whores. You apparently really wanted to escape Portland so this could be your chance.

Here's Vivian on a Livestream from 8 months ago (that's how long he has been putting off making the second de Sade video) talking about all the people who contributed their voices to the first video, talking about how he was gonna get even more people to contribute voice samples, LMAO, I guess that's no longer happening now that no one wants to associate with him anymore:

Vivian even considered using Lola to get a voice sample from none other than Nyk himself: "ContraPoints guest spot? That's the dream, ahahaha! That's the thing: I have mutuals with basically all of the big Youtubers you know about. It's a matter of, like, getting in touch with them for professional reasons, is kind of, yeah, it's weird. Also... no, no! Don't say that!"

I guess the "Also, no, don't say that" was him wanting to trash talk Lola - who had recently broken off their friendship - but deciding against it?

Later in this Livestream it gets really weird, with Vivian asking the chat: "I'm drunk so y'all please tell me not to text my ex".

At the time I thought he was referring to that "Laura" person he said he was dating before Serafina... but now I am starting to think that the "ex" here... is a reference Lola? So Vivian was literally going around claiming that he had just broken up with an "ex-girlfriend", when what had actually happened was that he was dumped by a friend he had been rapey towards, who had explicitly told him she didn't want to be his girlfriend because she was planning to get married?

Later during the Livestream Vivian gets a text message from Serafina saying: "Do not text your ex!":

So again, did Vivian lie to Serafina and tell him that Lola was an "(ex-)girlfriend" or something? Or maybe Serafina knew about Vivian sexually praying on Lola, but Sera went along with it because he too wanted to get Vivian the fuck out of his life and was hoping to off-load Vivian onto Lola? Did Serafina reinforce Vivian's delusion that Lola was an "(ex-)girlfriend" because he saw Vivian's infatuation with Lola as an opportunity to remove this junkie parasite from his house? The way I read the testimonies is that these people brought up Serafina because they wanted to warn him about Vivian, but instead of Serafina getting a clue and kicking Vivian out, they're now kinda stuck together due to their mutual drug abuse.
