Both are more remenaunts from other directions the place took. Trombonista especially is from the cwcki forums days and much like other admins that haven't retired seems to have no problems with the direction the place went.

Meowthkip on the other hand just outright retired. Never really looked into why, she seemed complacent with the direction of the place. I have heard that he would go out of his way to call users like Feline Darkmage (tranny lol) traitors to the white race and junk. He just kinda expects them to clean the place up, but then gets mad when they move something out of line

If you think any of these people are free of hypocresy, then you're retarded.
Many of the original users of that site are autistic, and I don't mean in a memey sense. A site where chelation therapy, ECT and the "clumsy psychopath" evolutionary psychology hypothesis of autism are openly discussed, a site where its owner endorses the validity of the made up illness "Cassandra Syndrome" and Jewsh, being the Narcissist loonie with a victim complex that he is, he claimed that his mother was autistic and he suffered from Cassandra Syndrome at some point.

This is something that permetrates the internet and ultimately the Zeigeist, just two examples: one of Sargon's most loyal moderators was an autist that didn't took his "feminism is autism" video very kindly and Sargon glady throwed him into the bus to gain cool kid points with Mister Metokur.

Other than the influx of extremely unfunny people that tried to shut down new memes like the 56%/La Creatura meme I remember a particular influx of editors writing a bunch of bullshit that was pretty offtopic for ED, for example, I remember a bunch of "gender critical" femcels from places like lolcow.farm editing ED's articles about Autism to include some pseudoscientific feminist shit about the extreme male brain theory and the clumsy psychopath hypothesis.
Voxday should have never try to fork the Wikipedia, what a particulary terrible precedent he established.
