Politics just seeped its way into everything and everyone around the mid-to-late 2010s. There was really no way Josh could baton down the hatches and not allow the Kiwi Farms to be affected by what was happening with the rest of the world.

There was also the time Odd Opossum brought up another user, The Jumping Dwarf, sharing child porn in the Kiwi chat and had multiple users telling him to kill himself and threatening to sue him for posting about it. It's kind of weird so many pedo accusations were thrown his way.

Odd Opossum was trying to close the child pornography spigot. The consumers of this child pornography attacked him with pedophile accusations to take the attention off of themselves, the actual pedophiles, and to protect the precious flow of child pornography.

With all this KF pedo shit, it's only a matter of time before the FBI gets involved. Maybe Pedo @Null should stay in Slav Europe, because it's not going to be a fun time for him in the US.

I only know about the psychotic shit through this site. At least on here it's easier to digest and I don't have to go through 38475238576238456 pages of bullshit drama to get to the important bits.

My favorite part was when Toolbox said that Odd Opossum should "face consequences" for posting about The Jumping Dwarf, basically saying that he should be sued for exposing a pedophile and potentially opening the forum up to investigations.

Old post, but I think Null is has a special hate for A&H because he (half correctly) blames it's users for driving off the oldfags who he considered his friends and he can't ban them all without destroying his free speech reputation.

Plus, to go back to the point @Smigger made, Null simply has no idea how to have fun. Why I found it uncanny the similarities between him and Lidl in this regard. I never had a problem with either in Q&A, invited them there to have fun, and the only thing they could do was make the most unfunny threads imaginable and seethe about the fact it existed at all.

I liked posting in Q&A because it was a containment area for me and other's absolute retardation. It was relaxing, fun, I liked many of the users there. Null just saw we were fucking around and having fun and he couldn't stand it and neither could Lidl. I never had a problem with them until they had one with me and even then, I wanted to work things out. Well, I got banned because they would not stop picking fights with me.

A&N's popularity is the inevitable result of the endless politization of everything on the Internet. The natural evolution of a lot of platforms over the last decade is to apply politics or some kind of "news" angle to everything. In short, almost all Western media is just straight-up news-type propaganda. A&N is just that--NPCs mindlessly posting propaganda from X, Y, and Z and little else than Reddit-tier responses as a form of "discussion."

(Incidentally, why many flock to media like Japanese anime is because the propaganda is not as forced or obvious as much of Western media is nowadays).

If you're part of the Gen X or Millennial crowd who grew up in the early days of social media, then you'd often hear the refrain to leave politics and religion out of any and all discussions. For a time, that was the working mindset until the 2010s and then things began to make a notable shift. It wasn't until the mid 2010s and GamerGate happened that non-religious, non-political discourse became a facade. So many people who had never injected politics or moralfagging into their content suddenly became righteous zealots for some deranged cause. To this, the train of ever-righteous zealots hasn't stopped and has recolored everything that used to be fun and enjoyable.

You often see Josh decrying how the forum isn't "fun" anymore. In reality, it's just because the Kiwi Farms was never immune to what was happening to the rest of the Internet. Josh yearns for a simpler time when we could laugh at Chris Chan or other bizarre personalities of the old Internet and not be bothered by the politcally-charged complexities of the modern Internet. Part of why he enjoys BossManJack is BMJ's quirks are very reminiscent of classic lolcows
