Yeah, i call it pendulum theory. It's when society often swings back and forth in response to extremes. It's observably happening now. Society leaned more left to spite the status quo in response to the pearl clutching fcc Christian conservatives from back in the day. Now they are doing it response to the radicalized virtue signaling adl progressives because they are the new status quo so want to spite them. Basically I'm against the current thing mentality when they get too pushy.

There's always gonna be people who wanna control others and use "morality" as an excuse for their bloodthirst. Whether its in the name of fighting sin, or in the name of fighting bigotry, or whatever, is just a matter of what culture and time they're born into. People who are cunts will find something to be a cunt in the name of even if religion and feminism and whatever other concepts weren't a thing. The fact people still act like pearl clutching fundamentalists even when religion is completely marginalized shows the problem is inherent to humanity, and not some creation or trait of Christianity or whatever.

Agreed. Regardless of the movement there will be people trying to weaponize it or use it as a defense. This is how i see Horseshoe theory as well, the same problems just exist everywhere.
