one of the many null call-ins had him confidently stating that it was impossible to build houses out of bricks because "they perspirate".

In all fairness, perspirate is a valid word, it's just archaic. Don't have the full context for the brick thing but I'd assume it's another instance of him half understanding things. I used to go through spells of being unable to listen to his streams because he gets so much shit wrong.
My IRL friend used to adore MATI and Josh until I popped her bubble. She was extremely unimpressed with the play-for-pay incident that Josh tried to pull with Coach Redpill. Ruined the immersion, I guess
