From @theathleticfc.bsky.social: FIFA has announced plans to sell a large minority stake in the World Cup. Under the plan, FIFA’s total development funding would top $10 billion over the next four years. Unsurprisingly, the idea is the brainchild of FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
