The end of kiwifarms

I read this entire thread today at work. My takeways from it:
Josh is a deeply flawed, lonely man with a terrible judge of character.
Apparently there are/were a lot of deeply weird jannies. Like legit mentally ill trannies and furries with a 1488 flavor. What the fuck Josh?
Some of these jannies came here to seethe and remain weird. Empresa is okay. Just seems to be continuing doing IP2 updates. Not bizarre like some of yall.
Josh made a mistake I once did on the internet: daring terminally online people with nothing to do all day to do something. Terrible idea.
Getting emotionally invested in KF or trying to make "friends" through it is an absolutely shit idea. Internet friends are barely real to begin with.
A&H should have been shut down.
That shit about the 100k salary job was fucking hilarious.

With all this said, I don't see a real change in my view of KF. Since I view it as strictly something entertaining, I really don't see the difference between reading a few KF threads and enjoying a Michael Jackson song. Both are entertaining despite the entertainers themselves being sorta gross and weird.

If you honestly don't understand that the average KF user just went there to read a few funny threads, not to invest themselves emotionally into all this faggot backstory shit then I don't know what to tell you. I still don't understand the hand wringing over A and H. Conservative shit posting spot on the site sure, but there were also several liberal counter parts. What am I missing?

You have to go back to 2016 because that was where the issue rose. Once A&H became invested during that election, the heavy politics spilled over into the threads. A&H itself was pretty unmoddable in part because if someone had a different political opinion the mods had to deal with a bunch of reports pouring in.

With that board spilling over, troon threads went from laughing at their antics to just tranny bashing and that kind of attitude started permeating a lot of the site which took it from funny to a serious issue to some. If someone saw it as serious that created a weird tone to the thread over their posts and over time that got more dominate than the laughter.

I know DE and the concept of the cathedral is mocked as weird doomer shit, and in some cases it is.
But the cathedral is not political. Whether Newsmax or Vice promotes a false story, the false story perpetuates the same.
Also please stop believing Josh was the first to discover Mencius this is not true.
