SNES

Yea, sorry... you're talkin to a Sega Genesis guy, I love the Yamaha YM2612 sound chip more than whatever MIDI shit the SNES uses.
They were better at different kinds of music, Genesis in general having harsher sounds that work better for more aggressive music, so when it came to more chill tunes, the Genesis fell flat on its face. Just compare these two:

Of course, you've got other factors like just flat-out how talented and familiar the musicians are with the sound chip of each system. It's kind of a nightmare to work with.

Post some songs where the Genesis version sounded better, because, uh... I don't know of any

One of the VERY few songs I like from the SNES

I can't even begin to describe how bad of a take this is, I can understand preferring the genesis, it has a really good soundchip when done right (and sounds horrendous when done wrong) but to say the SNES has very few good tracks (or whatever you mean) is a fucking retarded opinion when this is the same system that has the Kirby Super Star and DKC soundtracks, not to mention the shit games like Water World or whatever that has the really good map theme or anything else you can think of, even the flintstones live action movie game has Unused Theme 2.

You seem to have mis-understood me

I'm not saying those aren't good songs. They are. Their just not AMAZING songs that I would be willing to blast out of my car radio on full volume while driving on the highway. My example i posted is right along those lines. I'm pretty particular with music in general though.

Imagine having music tastes different than mine. Fucking sped.

Challenge Accepted:

The SNES version of this song just has a bass and guitar that plays the entire melody. It's boring and puts me to sleep
The Genesis version has more instruments for certain parts and just sounds more lively in general.

The SNES version is quiet. Like B.O.B. only using a few instruments to play the entire melody. And this is the first stage. The job of the first stage music is to get your attention and get you motivated to actually play the game.
The Genesis version not only has more instruments but is more lively and "in-your-face". It emphasizes on that "funk" sound and feeling, using "ugly" sounding synths that blend well with the actual stage (you know, the one covered in boogers).

Lemmings:
SNES: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8149DFEC20185E72
Genesis: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD133D3F9B75BECAB
I'm not spoiling this one because I'm linking the entire playlist for both versions. It's clearly obvious the SNES version regarding music isn't even fucking trying and is just phoning it in for the most part. The genesis version is clearly superior, being more upbeat, and actually giving a shit about how it presents itself.

You are objectively wrong

You are objectively wrong
How does this prove that I'm wrong? Your example does not relate to my post that you quoted, which was showing examples of Genesis songs being better than the SNES version.

I agree though, Doom32x's songs are pure garbage, but this has nothing to do with B.O.B., Boogerman, or Lemmings.

Oh, I was under the impression 32x was basically the same thing as the genesis.

It is but it isn't. The 32x is basically a watered down Saturn that uses cartridges. Only reason why it even exists is because Sega was (for some retarded reason) deathly afraid of the Atari Jaguar.

It had 64 bit technology bro

I absolutely blow barrels and barrels of chimp choad when it comes to platformers. I could also never get into RPGs. I already owned a Genesis so I bought the SNES primarily to play SF2 and all it's sequels. I also really liked Super Punch out for the SNES.
