Onionfarms and reaction stickers

stickers are for fags and redditors, tbh. the rating system should be taken away altogether, so that the reader may judge the posts in a particular thread based on their own merit, rather than the amount of pixel medals or top hats they got

Agree with everything you've said, although I think stickers have a great role of riling people up over shit that doesn't matter (Top hats, trashcans, and puzzle pieces).
If stickers are here to stay, then at the very least get rid of the reaction scores on people's profiles so it doesn't become something that gets farmed forever by dozens of users. Even further, you could make them only visible by hovering over posts, or only visible to the post creators themselves, that way it wouldn't influence peoples judgement and it would still get people pissed off (In this case it would actually be funnier considering you'd have people losing their minds over stickers that aren't even tied to a score, so even more meaningless than KF).
Josh argues that they're to cut down on repetitive posts, but looking at old threads and even on lolcow.farm, I rarely see posts that only ever exist to "agree" with another post. In fact, I think getting rid of them actually encourages people to provide their perspective over just hitting the agree button and going on with their day.
 
The only function of reactions that had any real value was fueling the shit highlight system. I genuinely can't understand why reactions are the thing that decides highlights on kiwi.

Personally I think if we get a highlights system, that highlights should be able to be set by the thread OP and trusted users (also mods). Instead of having them rely on something like reactions.

I'd be happy to gin up some custom Onion Farms stickers. All I'd need is a list of what people want and the file format they need to be in to work with the site. For now here are all the Kiwi Farms stickers since I'm pretty sure Null isn't going to file a LOLsuit over Internet stickers.

Decided to try making some OC reactions just for funsies. I'm not sure how good they'd look scaled down to sticker size, I'd probably need to do some tweaking to make sure they had enough unique colors/silhouettes to easily tell them apart.
