So I just found out that there is a graphic novel that was created by a cat named Blake Leibel, who apparently tortured and murdered his fiancé.

But I guess this particular graphic novel that came out 6 years before he killed her has a murder or murders so close to what he actually did to her, that they used it in the trial to convict him.

Now the thing is available to buy still so what I'm wondering is, is that worth buying? I mean maybe I'm messed up for wanting to read it but it seems really interesting. Maybe get a look into this dude's headspace if I read it you know?

No, don't buy it. Pirate it. No need to support a murderer or a big publishing corporation.

He owes her family 42 million dollars for causing her death, so his portion of the money would go directly to helping the victims family. So technically there's nothing unethical about it.

And like @kiwifails said, that fucker might be worth a little bit of coin later on down the road especially if he ends up copping to more murders. I mean you don't just torture and murder ONE person. That's some shit you work up to after a couple of prostitutes.

That's what people say about charities but the money most people spend usually goes into the pockets of the ones running it as a scam. Typically they can't can't take 100% of the income, so a portion still likely goes to him even in prison. But it doesn't mean any of your money technically goes to them. Because if only a percentage goes to it them who is to say it was yours that went to them or him and not somebody else's. They are not splitting what each person spends just the total of what he gets. People like to think it was their money that went to the good cause but somebody's has to go into his pocket. Under the best circumstances a portion of yours still goes to him. Better to just pirate it and donate to one of their funds directly or start a go fund me if you really want to help. But again, part of that fund will go to big leeching corporations.

Well it's the same judgment that happened with OJ's book and Ron goldman's family gets 100% of that.

That's good then. It doesn't always happen that way.

Yeah and the last 15 years or so they've really beefed up those son of Sam laws. It's rare when anybody's able to make anything off of shit related to their crimes.

And this falls under profiting from a crime because he killed her so closely to the way it was made in the comic.

I'll give him this: looking at the actual page of the comic, that's a pretty hardcore premeditation right there.
