Monarchies historically have always been a crapshoot.
For every Cyrus the Great and Alfred the Great and Emperor Meiji (good leaders), you get a fuck ton of Ivan the Terribles and a fuck ton of Nero Ceasars and a fuck ton of King Leopold IIs (bad leaders and they're examples as to why checks and balances on a government are a good thing).
Having a monarch being a good leader is a once in a lifetime thing where you may be lucky to experience a good period of intellectual richness and prosperity followed by another bad period that makes life Hell for everyone for a generation or two or longer than that. If you give absolute power to a genuinely good person then sure things will be awesome but when you give asbolute power to a terrible person (which was often the case) then you have to deal with it until the ruler dies of natural causes or gets murdered (either killed by another royal that seeks the throne or through a pesant revolt as a last resort).
Don't get me started in how monarchs with power treat the vulnerable for their degenerate sexual gratification.
If you know anything about the history of China's royalty (from their emperors to their nobility), it is riddled with sordid histories of rich and powerful men along with rich and powerful women taking advantage of kids for their own sexual gratification.
The European monarchs of the time were no better either (depending on which period we are talking about the monarchs weren't really tradpilled either). While sodomy laws existed in countries like pre-democratic England and pre-democratic France, it was pretty common to have the royals sexually abuse young boys and young girls in those days and they often got away with it because they could bribe a court or win the king's favor or do favors for the judges to avoid a conviction (the laws were for the masses, not for the classes just like what you see today). If a boy was being sexually abused by a royal, often the royal would cover that up. If a young girl was abused, the best case scenario is that the abused girl may just be dismissed by the court and the royals pretend this never happened.
While the UK's royal family as we know them today has become symbolic these days since Queen Victoria, even the FBI heavily suspected several members of the British royal family to be degenerate pedophiles back in the 1940's.
Is democracy inefficient and often stagnant? Yes it is. But you're better off having an inefficient government than having a government where the absolute powerful that hardly have any checks and balances on them can get away with even murder.
When you are rich and powerful, you can get away with anything (this has been true back then and this is true now).
Why would you want to give a corrupt government more power to stop pedophile Muslims? The elites have always never cared about you and anyone that is retarded enough to think giving a corrupt government more power to solve these kinds of issues is just asking to have their hands above the wall when the authoritarian government they supported will betray them in the end. I really hope that anyone that advocates for absolute monarchy on Kiwi Farms is in the minority there because holy fuck you have to be a big retard to advocate for absolute monarchy.
Benevolent dictators will always be exceptionally rare.
