Reddit does not support free speech, and yet I would not support taking down reddit. Kiwifarms does not have to be consistent in it's support for free speech for me to oppose taking the site down. I don't think that it's the last bastion of free speech or anything like that. I am critical of many of his decisions and the community standards held by Kiwifarms. But this is not a justifiable reason for taking Kiwifarms down.

I suppose Reddit doesn't support free speech, but then Reddit doesn't profess itself to be what Kiwifarms profess itself do be, does it?

Not taking down Kiwifarms was the natural point of view for many people some years back, yet the more you learned about Joshua and the community, and of its harassment and meanspirited doxxing of others, the more you understood that Kiwifarms is anything but a platform for free speech and anti-censorship. It's so much more than that, and it isn't pretty.

It's not that Kiwifarms is no longer "consistent in its support for free speech" that's the problem.
The problem is that Joshua and much of its userbase are psycopaths and sadists who use free speech as a pathetic excuse to be vicious and vindictive.

No reasonable person is in favor if this, and your commitment to not be opposed to such behaviour, to the point where you don't want disgusting platforms to be taken down and its perpetrators to face punishment and thus justice, only belies your naivety and how you conflate freedom of speech with some sort of shitty mentality of not caring about decency and good conduct on the Internet.

As others have said: freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequences.
It's time that Joshua and Kiwifarms has a proper taste of that.

Believing that Josh Moon is a liability because of his behavior and actions is very different from wanting to remove his ability to make money or have a platform on the internet.

Joshua is such a sperg, such a malevolent and vindictive person, who has wrought so much evil with his shitty website, and yet you don't understand why someone could want for him to lose the ability to continue being an evil fuck and still support what Kiwifarms should be in spirit.

There are plenty of other people in this world who should get the same treatment. As I've already tried to explain to you, this isn't being pro-censorship or whatever, but rather the opposite.

I love it when bad things happen to bad people, and Joshua is certainly a bad person.

Liberty does not equate to criminal actions, of which even the most hardcore guntguarders of Joshua and his forum will attest that Joshua is constantly dangerously close to commit.
The very fact that Joshua hosts revenge porn on his forum "F0r ARchIvinG PuRPOseS anD frEEdom oF SPeeCh" is grounds to lock the little fucker up for quite a while.

The josh gunt guarding tactic where kiwis go "look i hate him too but you cant do anything against josh cause it'll just make him look like a free speech martyr" is so dumb and transparent.

I mean obviously its untrue or else josh would already be considered a martyr instead of like sam Hyde said "toxic waste"

but also josh wouldn't need to constantly beg and the website would be growing.

What we actually see is that josh and the farms carry very little respect outside of the website. this line of argument itself tells you who is the kiwi because it doesnt even make sense outside of the kf bubble where respect for josh is rapidly declining and no cancelation is going to change that.
