"Had to renew domain, forgot to pay because they only accept PayPal and I'm fucking banned so it's a huge pain in the ass"
Can anyone see the logical fallacy in joshy's post? How does being banned from PayPal (because joshy's history of financial naughtiness) have anything to do with joshy forgetting to pay zher bills?

Also, if joshy can't renew the domain... because he can't get a PAyPal account... and that is the ONLY way... WHo DOES have a PAyPal account that can pay for the domain renewal?

Who really owns the domain...?

joshy is worried zher laptop is spying on zher... Whacking off...
Being fair here, Jersh does have every right to be paranoid about laptop webcams.

Zero days and unpatched security flaws have been well documented and used by state actors and cybercriminals where this goes from a threat actor spying on someone though their Ring camera system and the glowies gaining remote access to a subject's electronic device without the subject knowing it.

So unless your laptop has a physical kill switch that can 100% disable power and data going into a laptop's webcam and microphone, then it's pretty reasonable to be paranoid that a threat actor or state actor may be watching you in secret.

We've already seen this with phones where state sponsored malware (like Pegasus) can be used to spy on subjects of interest without the subject even realizing they're being watched.

So if it's something that can be be reasonably be exploited by the glowies or threat actors then yes you should treat that as part of your threat model.

so we're about a week away from the josh dox posted here right? josh has admited to driving in FL, so logically he should have a DL from there. even funnier his DL picture will be his most recent photo by a longshot.

I wonder if anything will come from this, it is currently past the deadline.

Being fair here, there is a valid concern on who wins this great tech race on whether the liberal democratic world wins or the autocratic world wins in regards to AI.

But my concern with AI isn't the fact that RAM princes (and computer part prices in general) are now through the roof because of AI or the amount of slop being made because of AI or whether the U.S. or China wins the AI race; my biggest concern is the fact that the claims that the tech companies are making about AI and what it can do is just vaporware.

This will not be the first time the tech industry had a bubble and then just when things were looking great, the whole thing imploded where investors got burned and dreams were crushed when what happened behind closed doors (often short-sighted speculative investing) lead to a market crash that negatively affects everyone.

We've seen this with the Dot Com Bubble where greedy speculative investors put in a lot of money in the millions and they didn't cared if something was a good investment or not and then when people finally payed attention to the man behind the curtain, the Dot Com Bubble burned Wall Street and lives were ruined over bad investments.

Now obviously the Dot Com Bubble didn't killed the Internet; the Internet is still here but what the Dot Com Bubble bursting really did was separate the chaff from the wheat where the scams went under while real legitimate tech companies rose like a phoenix. The same thing will happen with AI where while the AI bubble popping won't destroy AI, it will however reveal the scammers and those that invested in the scams (like Jersh probably has) will most likely lose everything. When the AI Bubble finally does burst (the signs are already there and the cracks are getting bigger) then both the U.S. and China will find themselves being burned and left with infrastructure that will either be scrapped or abandoned and the tech companies that are legitimate with the use of AI will be left to pick up the pieces afterwards.

Anthropic is all of those effective altrusits weirdos. OAI is run by a gay possibly trans dude.

china's already producing like 80% of tokens and the costs are so low that they're trying to ban open source software in the US. china by almost every metric has won the AI race and did it 2 years ago when deep seek showed people don't have to suffer and tolerate western AI's censorship. the economic numbers basically mean by 2030 OAI and Anthropic control everything in the US or they bankrupt the entire country. OAI needs trillions in new loans in 2027 just to make payments on their other loans. Anthropic keeps saying they'll do an IPO in october but their paperwork isn't in yet.

90% of people clearly aren't drinking their grape flavoraid and only indian tier retards like Null are buying what the effective altruists are saying

What happened?
I need context, this thread has been a snoozefest.
Southern Harlot was caught sexting Cyraxx. Previously anliteralidiot also sexted Cyraxx and got caught. It's a worrying trend honestly as the goblin deserves no attention

The idea of an AI race is literally nothing but marketing and empty hype. AI is a productivity enhancer that has some value for automation. That's it. You cannot summon a god from an LLM, no matter how much all these Big Tech fags claim you can. You will not obsolete tens of millions of jobs, because the hardware will take years to catch up and the regulatory environment even longer. I mean think of it, were that true, why would Elon be so big on unlimited H1Bs instead of just assuming xAI would make them obsolete? They even have to redefine terms like "artificial general intelligence" to bolster their claims (and their stock prices).

Null is correct that the fag from Anthropic is just trying to close the door on the market by making it a cartel impossible tk enter. I would add he is also trying to advertise by planting stories in the news cycle. Open AI did this too several years ago when they claimed ChatGPT 2 was super dangerous and would destroy the internet with misinformation (the buzzword then) and spam. Null is wrong that accelerating AI development is good. If AI were so useful (and to a large degree it is), then the free market would handle it instead of sucking up untold billions in taxes or making it so data centers can eminent domain ordinary Americans or jack up their power bills.
