I know he's dead set serious about moving location to somewhere not in the US. It still perplexes me, and the theory or two on why only leave me with more questions than answers.

If the US is no longer an option for some baffling reason, then he'd have to move someplace where there are very few if any internet laws. Section 230 really means that the place has near-full legal immunity, and while I have my gripes with this, the European countries have the reverse problem where it's too strict and you have to delete someones user information if they ask. What, are the faggot laws too much? Fair enough - here's a lawsuit and a fine to shut you the fuck up.

With places like South America, Africa or parts of Russia, I don't think there is this problem. I don't think they have it because they have fuck-all laws on what you can do on the internet, and what is there is only barely enforced. They probably don't even have extradition treaties.

Extradition treaty-wise, Latin America is not an option. They're way too cucked by the CIA and Dole Fruit.

The EU isn't an option, either, though, so that can't be his motivating factor.

My favorite thing about this map is how tight a correlation there is between "being a former UK colony in Africa" and "having an extradition treaty with the U.S." Winston Churchill lost WW2.
