Being fat isn't just something people notice when you're doing face to face interviews or meetings or whatever, it bleeds through in everything you do or say. Online classes while he was playing blockland? Wait I tought Joshes copes with blockland was that he was like 12 or 13 when he made those creepy posts. Josh is like 32 which would mean around 2005 or 2006. Did America have online classes for middle schoolers in 2006?

Blackboard existed in 2006, but I think at the time it was less like class and more akin to the computer-based training you have to do when you get a job at a place like say, AutoZone. That is to say, watch videos and answer multiple-choice questions. I remember having some class where the teacher insisted on using this in lieu of paper homework. It was pretty terrible.

It might have been the Florida version of summer school, ie. he failed math and had to fail it again. It is also possible that @Null was deemed incapable of functioning in a classroom environment and had to do online school in place of in-person special ed.
