I own a cat and all you really gotta do is feed and water it every day. The cat will remind you if you forget.

If cleaning up its shit is also too much, I recommend getting one of these disposable litter trays. All ya gotta do is replace it every month.

I could never have a goldfish - I'd forget to feed it.

That's why you set reminders/alarms on your phone to remind yourself to feed it when it's time for it to be fed.

There's also the fact that the bowl/tank needs to be thoroughly cleaned when it starts getting a bit green. Even filters (and those algae sucking fish that stick to the tank) only do so much.

I love pets in general, and it pisses me off whenever I encounter an owner that is just "eh, whatever" with them. Like wtf is the point of having a pet if you're not even going to make the effort to take care of it?

Josh should stay far away from animals as humanly possible. If his track record with other shit (internet/website related shit and the plant) is any indication, he will most definitely treat said animal like shit.

Yeah, throwing your food away in a garbage can with a lid is probably the best first step on keeping bugs from infesting your plants.

Cats do one better than alarms. If I forget to feed it in the morning, he'll come over to me and stare at me when I'm watching TV or at my computer. And I'm all "oh, yeah, woops!". Like its a little annoying but its something you do, right?

Now if you have a little baby, it'll cry. So then you check whats wrong with it. I kinda imagine Josh going "SHU T THE FUCK UP YOU LITTLE GBASTARD!" and neglecting it as he jerks it to neko shota instead, crying fueling his boner or something. He'd be a deadbeat.

Ottomans did make some cool looking shit. But they were evil terrible bastards and enslaved tons of white Europeans, something that gets memoryholed by most people.

And it wasn't until the good ole boys in the U.S. Navy came along that we ended their proxy pirate shit in the Barbary Coast. Yet another great example of Europe being completely reliant on the U.S. for their military actions.
