Same standards apply. This thread is for posting happenings. Given the size of the site it makes no sense to keep the thread exclusive to happenings within the community but for now rather a quick place to post big events in the assorted lolcow spheres of influence.

The loose post format guidelines are
A brief description (1-5 sentences) any applicable links, and archives to the content. Be as thorough as possible with links and archives.
