It's what happens to every platform that was once good: when the normies get there, it turns into Facebook-tier garbage because that's what the normies are. reddit, YouTube, KF... and Null was obviously unable and unwilling to take any measures to stop that from happening, which you can hardly blame him for.
Which is why being taken down might be the best thing to happen to the site - if it comes back under TOR, for example, it will be a full erasure of newfags and will stay that way since a normie couldn't learn about or operate TOR to save their own lives despite how simple it is.
Null has said he'd rather have the site die than go dark-web but it isn't over until the fat lady sings so I guess we'll see.
