I don't have a lot to say about KF. I was only on kiwi farms for about a week before I got banned because I guess that dude who owns it saw me for what I was which is the kind of person who was the loud guy who bullied him in high school.

So I fucked off to here. I kind of come and go in spurts, as I don't really have social media and I don't like the internet. The weird thing about being a Xennial is that you're literally the last generation of people that remember an analog world.

But yeah it's nice to meet you. Stick around we'll have some fun.

I know the sentiment I remember a world in which was not digital. I remember living life without cell phone and many of the things that we have now. Simpler times. What you do to get banned if you don't mind me asking?

It was like 6 months ago so I would have to recheck but I'm pretty sure I made a couple of mild jokes at his expense.

Fuck social media. I literally post nowhere else but here.

As a member of Generation Y Should I, I remember the analog world all too well. Well, for this lifetime anyway.

Carburetors, rabbit ears, cash money. I've made a lot of calls on payphones.

I do embrace the better aspects of the Internet though.

I have a YouTube account and a couple of different BBS I post on like this. That's literally my entire Internet footprint

Yeah I have a house phone and when I leave my house I usually don't take my cell phone with me. I literally only have it for the convenience of watching movies and stuff in bed. I'm one of the last people who if I'm not home you have to leave a message on my machine because you can't get ahold of me.

I use YouTube modified, just so that way I don't have to pay for entertainment. I don't use anything other than Kiwi Farms or Onion Farms for online social stuff. And luckily, the phone I have is a Z-Fold 4 Titanium, so it meets all my basic needs. There's something really freeing about leaving and not having to worry about your phone when you go places. I make it a mandatory must when I go on vacation that people put their phones away. This rule also applies to the dinner table. I have relatives and friends who'll be eating, and they're still watching a YouTube video or Netflix during dinner.

I take my cell phone everywhere, and it's a flagship from 3 years ago so it can do almost everything a phone can do. The utility it provides me is worth the price and the weight in my pocket. I'll answer phone calls and text messages when I feel like it, which is almost never as soon as other people would like me to. It's really not hard to ignore. I've got two SIM cards and a 3rd party "Phone" app because the stock Google one can't fucking handle dual SIM functionality. That 3rd party app inexplicably will not show when I have a new voicemail for either SIM, so I have no idea when people leave me messages, so those people can fuck off too. My point is, it's on my terms.

As it happens, I don't have a dinner table. Dinner happens in front of a TV or a computer. Food is more enjoyable when I am distracted by video. It slows me down. Those of you without ADHD probably can't relate, so you'll have to just trust me on this.

While I can sympathize with the pains of ADHD that you have, dinner time is a sacred time we may put music on but we are there to enjoy each other's company and share an experience. It's a half an hour to get to know each other better and to a home-cooked meal. This doubly applies to a restaurant. I have relatives that go to a movie theater and they're on their phone playing raid Shadow Legends. I'll never get over this kind of mentality.

I should mention that dinner for me is usually alone, or with a friend who prefers Family Guy over silence.

It's the only time I watch Family Guy nowadays, though I used to be a fan years ago. It's nice when people can take me out of my usual and expose me to something I don't usually experience on my own.

I wouldn't be watching anything or have a phone out if I were having dinner with somebody's family or something. But I'll usually turn down the offer anyway because dinner tables are fucking hell for me.

I try to avoid those, but I agree with you on that.

What is the point of going to the movies if you're not actually going to watch the movie? I mean there's only one other thing people should be doing in a movie theater besides watching the movie, and it's most definitely not playing RAID: Shadow Legends.

When Ling isn't around I just eat something I nuked in the microwave over the sink just so I can wash the utensils and bowl quickly. Food is just fuel when I'm alone.

When she's around though we make dinner an event. Same time each night, we switch off on the cooking (the woman can't cook red meat to save her life, unless you count Fido as red meat) and we enjoy each other's company. We even have a couple cups of yin hao green tea every night after dinner.

And besides it helps put us in an intimate mood so we enjoy our time more.

That's the thing I love about eating out: trying something new and having a new sensory experience. There's just something exciting about trying different foods. And I wasn't kidding about that Raid: Shadow Legends thing. I was at the movie theater with my significant other a while back, and there was a dude who had headphones on and was watching porn during the movie.

I find that we have a similar approach to cooking and sharing meals. If I'm alone, I make simple food, but when I'm with my significant other, I want to share and bond with her, so I make sure the meal is something special each time. That way, we can bond over it after a busy, hard day. And I want her to feel appreciated; to me, it's like giving her a gift - of having a personal chef."

Ling sounds like an amazing woman if she has you trying so hard to impress her so often, we may not share green tea but we'll sit down and have a glass of iced tea.
