The new website layout and default theme are awful

The red color looks really bad and it should be changed back to what it once was.

Also the old forum layout was fine but now it's 100x worse, why did Ken put forums into "tiers"? Who asked for this? Also the kiwi farms board is not available to guests for some reason.

So many bad changes are being made constantly, and it's making the website more complicated and look bad.

Just ask the community what they think before changing something, it's really not that hard.

I think it looks less distracting than the other theme since others have agreed with me for awhile now on a red and black theme since it's less intrusive on the eyes and the dark theme had too many distracting purple linings that didn't need to be there since it separated every individual column, if there's something I can change though I could continue to work on the dark theme - is it just the bright red that's bothersome because if so I can make it a darker blended color to pair well with the black overlay.

Just make it another theme, don't change the default one. No one asked for this.

A number of people did, but I'm unsure yet how to make a completely new layout theme since I'm still learning about xenforo but I also got permission to do this because it's been a problem for some time now and if there's something wrong with the theme, I can work on the aspects of it that may be problematic currently if it's a case where the red is a problem.

When it comes to the layout / UI I'm leaving that one to Ken and @C.S.O. esq since I'm unsure how to really fix the UI / Layout and would rather leave that up to @Onion Null to fix so that I don't crash anything, since I'm not too sure how to work on those aspects unless I studied into it for some time to figure it out.

I'm also insure why it also changed the default them as it should have only changed the dark theme, but I have an idea that will probably make all parties content as the red / black theme has been broken for some time so I will switch this theme over to that one, and see if I can bring back the purple theme though there's been complaints about it.

I've been told by many people that there's issues with the way the dark theme looks, which I agree with the notion since people have memed about it being the joker theme.

Just talk and show people what you would change and ask people what they would want the new default theme to be.

This is standard for pretty much any forum admin, they usually don't make big changes without consulting with the community.

There's maybe five people who log into this website daily who have asked for theme fixes and a lot of the reasoning has been because of the themes / UI so I figured I was fixing it to help aid in bringing in more people - especially since the way I'm working on it is what's been asked of me for a long while now. All people need to do is DM me if there is a problem with themes or any overall issue as I will do my best to take care of these issues and improve the site as I've been asked.

I put the theme back, it's not that much of an issue rather than me just enjoying a hobby which is designing stuff based on what people have asked me to do and I like to help around.

I just like themes that aren't eye straining or distracting and that's what I was going for, luckily I saved the two hours worth of code which I'll be using to further fix the black and red theme, although this gives me an idea at some point for a fun 8 - bit style theme once I learn how to make new themes from scratch which should be easy enough to do once I figure it out.

Some people are never satisfied. Or just like complaining for the sake of it. The idea of expecting the themes on OF to be anything other than ocular rape... NGMI.
