I'd debate on freedoms but it'd be in subjective perspective qnyway becauss of personal experience.

Regarding handling uhh... Man I'd agree with you if not your trials and errors at reinventing the wheel, the whole concept of this place. You can trust I wish this place the best but your periodic experiments with forum designation, format etc are don't look appealing to general public. It's even less appealing when you make desicions that can be accounted as borderline nuts, take your recent age policy for example. I'm not against teens have e-space to hqngout but we ain't such place. We are the byproduct of lolcow culture where there's no place for people who have not come of appropriate age (ie 18 years old). We are gossip site, one that follows same walkpath kiwifarms do, at some aspects. That's why we are not fit for teens and underage in general.

Wordpress page would have been fine if it was done prior to onion farms, at the very beginning basically. It was done many years later, made most of regulars pissed and scared some part of potential new users.

Ok. First let's talk about the aesthetic of the forum. Nobody here had the expertise with the avatar color until I stumbled across the color configuration on the admin panel.

Nobody here had any expertise with Font Awesome in terms of custom shapes for avatars which is why we have the custom add-on to use pictures as an alternative.

As for lowering the registration age down to 16, we have a custom add-on that enables us to set a minimum age for each forum. @C.S.O. esq justified part of the 18+ minimum age limit on the Roblox controversy. Roblox is a gaming website that allowed children as young as 10 to sign up. We are not a gaming platform. We cater to an entirely different audience.
