You should not threadban pickleman for calling you a pedo/creep, which to my knowledge not even Kengle disputes. It just looks like you're trying to cover it up. You should just move "off-topic posts" (pickleman was replying to you and others, he was not warned about it either) to a dedicated which is what your buddy Daniel did.
Kengle doesn't care if people try to paint him, and his users by extension, as condoners of child harm because all of Kengle's arguments have been legitimate. It's respectable, albeit reckless and incredibly stupid.
I don't have an issue with certain sections such as trendy celebrity section being accessible by near adult (17 or so). The stuff I am putting in the celebrity-sphere comes from gossip channels on X.com that are already accessible to the general public.
I want to reiterate that I think all your arguments have been valid, legitimate, and currently employed by more popular websites. People just want to cause drama and controversy where there is none currently. This isn't a website like KF where you can easily find animal torture, zoo porn, and revenge porn. However, it is still best to restrict the signup age to 18 and above so people cannot paint you, and your users by extension, as "endangering children." (Pickleman's threadbans should also be rescinded.)

I may be looking at a marketing strategy. Having a signup age of 18 tends to be associated with the adult industry or extremist sites. I don't want Onionfarms to be associated with this. There is a difference between Mature (17) and AO (Adults Only 18+).

Tbh I don't blame staff for thread banning picklenancy, even if I don't agree with it myself. He is so (cmon lets face it) insufferably autistic and it's not even just cuz of his sissy fighting with IKOL. Pickle is denser than concrete and more often than not he makes this thread and Nooly Nool thread downright unreadable, by spamming the same "guise the lefties are taking over KF" "Nool is despairing over yank midterms" drivel over and over and over again.
I think 16+ would be legitimate as that's what soyjak-type sites currently use. I don't think it should be lower because I am skeptical of a younger teen's ability to articulate well enough in this older forum style.
I can see both sides. He does add to the thread regularly but was spectacularly chimping out and taking the thread off the rails while throwing ad homs like "pedo" constantly. A warning and containment thread would probably suffice for this behavior unless it becomes habitual.
