I'm on the same boat as you {o}p, except I like older women. When I was an older teen, but considered an "adult", I would go on dating sites and women in their late thirties, but the problem with that is they'll unfortunately will try to take advantage of you :(. I mean the 58 and 28 year old couple did break that rule, and it's weird, but at least they're grown adults, not teen adult relationship. And what my preferences are somewhat breaks that rule if they're born in 1992 and before, but doesn't if they're born in 1993-1996, which is the year I stop at when look to date a woman. But then again, yeah weird AF I like women even four decades older than me, but at least I'm no longer an adolescent. Since where you're from 16 is "adult" legally, I cannot stop you and the other man dating you, but remember, most people will be like WTF.
