Most of them on both sites are bots that xenoforo is too shitty to detect as bots and the number being the same seems to support this since they use them for both sites.
Admittedly in all likelihood you are correct, most but not all are bots.

There is dimension dark stealth and uniform dark stealth in the theme options. Basic dark theme is fine.
Reason: Kiwifarms Halloween looks like ass, but even I know there are better themes so it is a non issue with both sites.
