I found the whole "conservatory" over Pragmata to be pretty astroturfed.
The only reason why the game got the "backlash" that it did is because it was mostly retarded feminists that used the fact that Japan is the capital of lolicon and shotacon content to trash on the game in the attempt to try to start a retarded moral panic over Pragmata (think back to how retarded Christians in the late-1990's threw a tantrum when Grand Theft Auto hit store shelves in 1997). Fortunately this laughable attempt to start moral panic spectacularly failed and the Internet rightfully laughed at the idiots that saw Pragmata as "pedophile bait".
I swear, some people on the Internet treat Japan as the new Israel.
If you're like me that gets into politics and conspiracy theories on the Internet, chances are you've came across the classic 'Jews Rule the World' belief that is often held by many in the Far-Right and even held by some in the Far-Left too.
Now there is plenty of truth to this. Israel gets a lot of money from the U.S. (because the Democrats and the GOP have been compromised by pro-Israel activists) and the Jews control much of Western media (think Hollywood) and many Western banks in general. But the Jews can only control so much; they don't control tech for the most part (much of Western tech is controlled by Jeets instead), half of the world's super rich elites are non-Jewish whites (think people like Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos; unless you really want to make the retarded argument that they're Jewish anyway despite no evidence to support this), and these days even half of the U.S. is now growing skeptical of Israeli influence within the American government.
And I see a similar parallel with Japan; whether it's leftoids, some rightoids, and some of the Kiwis we see this kind of Stupid Bigotry in action. The Jews is to the Far-Right what the Japanese is for mostly Feminists and other Leftoids (both the Far- Left and the Far-Right believe there is a conspiracy theory by an outside group looking to subvert the West with their foreign values but they both fail to take account of other variables for them to see why this belief system is often half-correct or even downright incorrect in many cases).
There is a huge difference between Rational Bigotry and Stupid Bigotry.
Rational Bigotry would be truthful shit like how many Islamist migrants in Europe treat women and young girls pretty poorly due to the fact that the concept of consent is an afterthought in many Islamist nations, how Israel abuses America's Christian culture by convincing evangelical boomers in public office to give Israel money, Jeets let India be covered in poop due to their lack of basic hygiene and the lack of basic civic duty to keep clean in their culture, and blacks making up the highest murder statistics of any minority group in the U.S. due to their fatherless culture.
Stupid Bigotry would be really stupid shit like blaming the Jews because you stubbed your toe the other night because you left the lights off in your bedroom, blaming Indians for Big Tech spying on you when whites in Western tech have pushed for this originally, and blaming the Japanese for why manga is more consumed than American comics now when the fault lies on American comic book writers for writing shit stories these days.
Calling Pragmata pedophile bait falls into the category of Stupid Bigotry because most gamers that sat down and played the stupid game never reported seeing the game promoting criminal activities towards children IRL (the vast majority of gamers saw the game as a wholesome dad simulator). No one with a functioning brain saw the game as pedophile bait, most people just saw the game as a fun space game where you act like a dad.
