My best guess is when Trump came into the picture.
Before Trump showed up into the picture, Kiwi Farms leaned more towards the center-left compared to the 'No Fun Allowed' zone we see now.
It was an edgelord's platform but it was an edgelord's platform that used to lean a bit more Left back in the day.
When Trump came into the picture, suddenly some of the Kiwis thought America was finally going to get its own version of Fransisco Franco or Adolf Hitler simply because Trump said illegal immigration has to end.
While Trump is not wrong about illegal immigration being an issue in America, a lot of Rightoids misinterpreted his rhetoric where they thought Trump was going to kick out the Jews and massacre minorities but they failed to realize that Trump is at best a moderate 1990's styled Democrat.
Trump Derangement Syndrome comes in a lot of flavors and while the most common flavor of TDS is the people that A-Log Trump for just existing, TDS comes in a more subtle variety too where those that dickride Trump and the MAGA movement (Trump Enslavement Syndrome) think Trump is going to save the white race and turn America into a white ethnostate where a lot of people who didn't support Trump in the first place would come to support him over a flawed belief that Trump is going to save the white race (which is absurd because while Trump is anti-illegal immigration, this doesn't mean he is pro-white and he has deported plenty of white illegal immigrants back to whatever European or Anglo country they came from).
If Trump is the savior of the white race in America then he is doing a pretty poor job at it because he is also heavily cracking down on white illegal immigrants too (he's not just deporting the blacks and browns that are staying in America illegally). A real white supremacist would probably let White Europeans and whites from the Anglo nations stay in America despite being illegal immigrants to help rebuild the white race (much like how Hitler gave Nazi citizenship to those of Germanic decent that lived outside of the Third Reich) but Trump is deporting plenty of whites that are not American citizens and not legal residents which means he has no desire to strengthen the white race as his immigration policies doesn't really favor whites living outside of America either.
Basically before Trump, Kiwi Farms was an edgelord forum that leaned more towards the moderate Left but Kiwi Farms after Trump came into the picture has caused Green Reddit to think they could be wearing military uniforms by Hugo Boss someday. There are some Kiwis that know Trump Enslavement Symdrome is cringe but a lot of Kiwis still think they may someday get to throw people they don't like in the gas chambers when that will never be the case, period.

In a lot of ways, Jersh has a lot in common with Andrew Torba aka the founder of Gab.
Andrew Torba is a lolcow because for many years Andrew Torba has grifted his way to get right-winters and free speech advocates to get on Gab (including trying to get Trump himself on Gab) where he pitched Gab as Twitter for right-wingers and edgelords.
But there is just one problem, a big problem, the thing that makes Gab complete shit is Andrew Torba himself. Andrew Torba is an incompetent idiot when it comes to the security of Gab (in fact this is how Stonetoss got doxed because left-wing advocates used an old data leak from Gab to dox him due to Torba practically leaving the keys to the website under the door mat) and Andrew Torba doesn't really believe in free speech either where since then he has banned porn, left-wing discourse, and sports talk and even banning criticism of Andrew Torba himself. The only things you can really talk out on Gab is praising Adolf Hitler and preaching generic Christian Nationalist talking points.
Now while you can call Andrew Torba as being "Based and Redpilled" for banning porn and sportsball topics on Gab, the fact that Andrew Torba will often scare aware and ban left-wing discourse (which defeats the purpose of open political talk) just shows that Gab is less of a free speech platform and more of a hugbox for your average /pol/ack and Dissident Righter that wants to trash on Israel and the Jews 24/7.
But even in today's world, Gab is now worthless because after Elon Musk bought out Twitter (later renamed to X), a lot more people (including right-wingers) found that you can have real engagement on Twitter with many topics compared to Gab. You can post porn and talk about sportsball on Twitter if you're a degenerate (but you often won't really get banned off Twitter for this) and you can talk about politics on Twitter without restriction if you like (you know, what an actual free speech platform is suppose to be like), leaving Gab to be irrelevant. You can even openly criticize Elon Musk on his own platform and often the worst he will do to you is block you on Twitter while Andrew Torba may straight up ban you from Gab if you do this. You can even openly criticize Israel and the Jews on Twitter meaning there is very little reason to use Gab these days.
Jersh and Kiwi Farms is much like Andrew Torba and Gab where both claim their respective platforms are the "Last Free Speech Platform" on the Internet and both are debanked where they will grift and guilt-trip their way to get people to donate money to them by claiming they want to keep the lights on when they're really just pocketing the money for their own personal gain (like buying a new watch or something).
Fuck it, I'm just going to say it. 4chan is more of a free speech website than Kiwi Farms is. Say what you want about 4chan where 4chan's biggest problem is their retarded power-tripping jannies that may ban you for any bullshit reason but at least on 4chan, there is no topic that is off the table and people on 4chan can still openly discuss any topic at a given time (granted that everyone follows 4chan's ToS which I actually find to be pretty reasonable and no one on 4chan is breaking any serious laws). Jersh may ban you for criticizing him, ban you for talking about any topics that makes Jersh uncomfortable, and even lock down threads while probably banning you because often he's petty and micromanages what he wants to see on what people can talk about on Kiwi Farms.
The funny thing is that Jersh and Andrew Torba actually hate each other; Jersh laughs at Andrew Troba for wasting a lot of money on the failure that is Gab and Andrew Torba sees Jersh as a grifter but the two idiots are two sides of the same autistic loser coin.
