It's a waste of money at the moment to buy brand new hardware to play Triple A games these days because most current Triple A games are (for the moment) complete garbage.

If you're still on DDR3-based or DDR4-based hardware then just play indie games and Double A games and with Linux becoming a more viable option for gaming these days then just install Linux on your aging machine to extend its life.

For the moment, if you have a good gaming rig already then you don't really need to upgrade your hardware. Besides, computer hardware has gotten really expensive these days and with most Triple A titles being slop these days, the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Save your money by playing indie and Double A games while keeping your aging hardware for many more years with Linux.

It's been the 2nd time he made a imbecilic take, and this is genuinely no Poe's Law at all, the guy probably watches a lot of critical drinker and thinks films should be more masculine or some gay ass retarded shit. I really feel like most of these dumbasses on there that say that type of shit like what Cal said, most definitely watch People like Nerdrotic, HeelvsBabyFace, YellowFlash, and other anti-woke low-quality wii shovelware tier videos. They can't just be following behind Josh like sheep, they have to be genuinely watching some of those shitty channels.

Frame/Graphics fags are the worst. It's gotten to the point where we now have PC graphic cards that create actual fake frames just to appease to these fucking idiots.

Nevermind trying to fix more important things like input lag (which is a very real thing ever since we made the switch from analog to digital), no... for some reason we absolutely MUST have the screen and models look as pixel perfectly detailed as possible even though the gameplay (the thing that really matters) is complete trash.

An example would be Sparking Zero! People have hyped up that slop for ages, and even abandoned XV2 for it. But the engine it's on (UE5) is complete dogshit and the game released with glitches too. It seems the more graphic heavy a game is, the more bugs that will come with it, and we as a consumer needs to tell these faggots to stop upgrading graphics because getting a new card is too expensive and due to covid we don't really have much to buy, as the parts for them are becoming scarce.
 
Like I said, buying new PC parts (especially to play a game with maxed out 4K graphics) is a waste of money.

Even the best CPUs and GPUs currently on the market still struggles with 4K gaming where you may still find yourself doing tweaks just to get a game to run at 4K. A lot of games still look perfectly fine in 1080p (which is the default resolution for modern games anyway).

I'd only recommend buying new current gen PC parts is when you're either new to PC gaming and you want to start out or your PC has gotten too old and shitty for you that you can no longer do your daily shit anymore.

I don't really care for eye candy, I just want a game to look good and is playable.

I hate how some people treat tech like fast fashion.

MMOs and MMORPGs were a thing long before Fortnite was a thing though.

Some good examples are World of Warcraft and War Thunder where with those two games they're some of the most popular multiplayer games in the world but you may also notice that those games can also be played even on a potato computer because it makes sense for the developers to have as many people play their games as much as possible because lowering the barrier of entry for these games mean more people can play them so the devs can make more money off them.

If anything, I blame the decline of Triple A games on retarded left-wing social activism, loot boxes, and out of touch CEOs on why Triple A gaming has become garbage in recent years.

Based. It's honestly incredible how retarded gamers can be. How obsessed they are with realism and performance, not realizing that games tend to run worse the more realistic they are.

Its funny how gamers will complain about games looking the same but instead of blaming market trends, they instead blame Unreal 5. Which makes no real logical sense. If an art piece looks like shit you dont blame the canvas or paint, you blame the artist.
