But let them be negatively impacted by our current economy and cheap foreign labor. These people probably didn't get to make their dreams become a reality and want to encourage others to not even attempt.

Most of these people on the anti-lolicon thread seemed like they were called a 'faggot' by actual anime fans on social media and so they huddle up on a Resetera-tier thread on Kiwi Farms for their Two-Minutes Hate ritual because they didn't got their way with the rest of the anime community.

The word "Tourist" gotten traction because it's used to describe posers in any fandom (not just the anime fandom) that want a fandom to change for them and they feel absurdly entitled to have said community cater to their every whim. It's much like the left-wing feminists from back in the #GamerGate years that wanted video games to be woke progressive slop and the gaming community decided they didn't wanted this (and the gaming community won in the end because the progressive crap is being toned down now as game developers realized no one wanted woke slop to begin with).

If you earn any kind of income in the United States or anywhere else in the developed world, your taxpayer money is still going into the pockets of pedophiles that have real power. I don't know. I guess it’s NPC (normal) that most people hate it, but I appreciate the shaming of those who use it para socially. I’m grateful we’re slowly phasing out of accepting anything as a zeitgeist, even if it’s small. I think that, in a way, is huge. Post-COVID had everyone fucked up. God, during and after COVID was fucking annoying. You give too many things an inch, and they take a mile.

I think we need to look at the facts, though.

They very well could be pinning the layoffs on AI to cover up the fact that they’re losing money during this post-pandemic time. It’s been kind of rough and up and down since. A lot of things have happened pre-peak COVID and post-COVID. A computer is not real. It’s not real in the sense that it’s like a person.

What’s more likely to happen is that more and more places will get stricter with their internet usage policies and pin the blame on a chatbot or an image denoiser. I think part of the reason they even released this to the public is for that very reason. They give you a problem, you don’t like that problem, then they give you a seemingly nicer solution. Machine learning can be very good for things like the health field, but you have to acknowledge that LLMs and machine learning can’t be used for every single thing you do. Same thing with the internet.

It become erratic and downright resembling what you'd to expect from places like resetera or facepunch\knockout in them current years (with addition of free nigger-pass and KYS wishes on top). At best.
