i wouldn't say it "matters" but its like TV Without Pity in the 2000s, if enough people in the right sectors give a fuck then suddenly its a big deal because it forces changes on the rest of us. Some obscure gossip shit is why a lot of huge movies and tv shows in the 2000s became a lot worse so they could pander to them, an entire episode of the west wing was seen by 20 million people live and it was all about how evil a kiwifarms-esque website was for mocking the show. If someone's going to force 20 million people to listen to you rant about a website you don't like, i'd have to assume it s a bit of a big fucking deal.

Its like how every comedian podcast talks about redbar, then you find out its a facebook group with 3k members at most and has one episode a month, you'd assume it shouldn't be a big deal, but if each of those 3k members is a comedian then suddenly its a big deal.

JDUnderground was just a gossip site for lawyers but it was practically a next gen version of SA the way people shittalked each other until its demise. the sharty can barely be described yet it has an oversized impact on everyone and everything

I was referring to his tangent about lolcow forums having no influence in real life, which is similar to stuff he said in the Lidl Drip thread. Anyway, I looked at the arkomia thread KF has, and I'm starting to think Daniel might have been right for once regarding you and arkomia being the same person. There's a few too many coincidences regarding usernames and what I remember seeing you post myself on here for me to completely doubt it.

Truth hurts only if you have cognitive dissonance. None of what happens here matters in the real world. Most politicians and people running companies never heard of Chris Chan. Then you start notice something's off but use site anyway. Though your interest in participating wears off little by little
Then some faggot finds it's his sacred duty to overreach and bullshit about something. And you wake up expecting stable, normal day off but some of you pals reach you out and say "yo dude what's happening there" and say that some bunch of niggers are after me.
Happened to me recently. It's buffling and utterly dissapointing that in terms to validate themselves or hide behind their own insecurities they attack fellow kiwis who are more or less decent humans.
It proved that trying to be reasonable doesn't work, so guess my lads were right all along.
Quite heartbreking shit honestly.
