USPG2 thread had a spergout that lasted from two nights ago up to last night regarding whether or not the government should allow to have ID checks for people that want to access porn. It was gigantically retarded with specific users going "won't someone please think of the children" while other users were making good points like "you should never EVER allow the government to take control of more things because they will abuse that control". User "Hey Johnny Bravo" was most definitely one of those users that was the most active "anti-gooner" poster during that whole "debate" and even users that supposedly like him were even calling him out for being a gigantic fucking retard.

i think its slow going and/or Null was smart enough to only start offering that shit to the T&H people first, and not doing an open admission its starting. I think Null wants to have the "rewards" system in place before he starts accepting money, especially when that has been a big bone of contention when it comes to various lolcows such as Vito or Nick who accepted money for shit and promised gifts only to never actually do them.
Honestly i don't think he can or should bother with much for a reward. reminder that fucking reddit throughout all of the 2010s only had reddit gold and that only gave you access to one subreddit and a handful of features that people could get for free using RES.
It was one of the largest sites of the 2010s and despite that, they basically offered users the chance to pay $6 for a subreddit, looking at it like that Null offering an entire board plus extra stickers is worth $20, and doesn't even account for the feature or ability to highlight posts.
I think another fun feature would be a dedicated mod or admin, like this would factor into that whole "BP mod banning a user and calling him a pedo" thing where they can pay $20 and get a dedicated mod who can either overturn or negotiate better terms with other mods. So instead of paying $100 all at once to get unbanned like Bear or Toji you can just pay $20 a shot for essentially "ban protection" plus with how few users a mod would be overseeing it probably would be an easier job than most other mods have currently.

I remember back when Trump announced his disastrous and embarrassing "Liberation Day" tariffs, Jersh supported the tariffs because in his mind he thinks that will bring the banks to their knees because Jersh wanted revenge for being debanked; because Jersh unironically adopts the "I Can't Wait for Society to Collapse So My Ideology can Rise from the Ashes!" mindset. As you know, Trump did a 90 day pause on the hefty tariffs because they were going to make the entire American economy collapse had he continued with his retarded economic plan.
A lot of the Kiwis supported the tariffs because they bought into Trump's bullshit lie that the tariffs were going to bring back manufacturing jobs and that countries like China will pay America; this is not how tariffs work.
A tariff is simply a tax imposed on foreign goods where the exporter (foreign countries) don't pay for the tariffs, the importer does (American businesses and American consumers). No sane business wants to operate at a loss so said American businesses will pass on the burden of the tariffs to the American consumer where not only will consumer pay sticker price for a product but also pay money to the American government and thus raising prices on said goods (money collected from tariffs goes to the American federal government where they can do whatever they want with it, that money doesn't go back into the hands of Americans). Tariffs are just a sales tax on foreign goods.

I predict that Trump's retarded economic policies and his retarded foreign policies is what is going to make America swing back away from the Right where after Trump is long gone from public office, we will see a De-Trumpinzation period where the many things that were achieved by Trump and the American Right will get reversed and done away with (like how the Soviet Union did away with the image of Stalin after he died or how Spain did away with the image of Fransisco Franco after he died because it's clear that Trump isn't that popular anymore).

Manufacturing jobs aren't coming back, so far Trump has failed to end the Ukrainian conflict (even threatening to put more sanctions on Putin because he finally realized that Putin is not his friend) and now he has to deal with the shitshow in Pakistan, and his tariffs are most likely going to slow down the American economy (even if the tariffs are fully lifted, the damage is done and it will take years for things to be back to normal).
If America starts to starve to death by this summer because of the supply chain crashing, I think Trump is going to deeply regret saying that Americans should have less presents for their families this Christmas while he accepted an expensive airplane from a Middle Eastern country which will bring the American Right down as Trump keeps making one bad decision after another (this is also how peasant revolts usually start if you bother to look at the history of human civilization when a population of people start to go hungry).
So if America starves, whatever the Kiwis want the GOP and Trump to do will most likely be in vain if a peasant revolt happens should the shelves become empty because no one wants to go hungry (no one is willing to starve to death for a politician).
