A part of me thinks the DDoS is real given how Kiwi Farms has way more enemies than allies as they're one of the most hated communities on the Internet and they're constantly attacked by many sides of the Internet (it's not just communist troons that attack Green Reddit, even many of those on the Right don't like Green Reddit much either).
Whether it's from troons to furries or from /pol/acks to groypers, most people on the Internet simply do not like Kiwi Farms that much (it's to the point where even many on the traditional far-right finds them insufferable).
I don't think Kiwi Farms is out of the woods yet and if there is truly a third-party at play here then they'll be back with a much more sophisticated attack to hurt Jersh and the Kiwis even more. The fact that the Sharty is getting involved in this means the Sharty will most likely be aggressively targeted by this too.
It's like a medieval castle siege where the attacker doesn't necessarily have to attack the fortification head on and the only thing they need to do is to simply cut off the supply routes until everyone inside the keep starts to starve and the inhabitants are forced to surrender once they run out of supplies.
If what Jersh is saying is true that he is now permanently blacklisted by the entirety of big tech in regards to DDoS protections and he is now relying on the Sharty to barely keep the website up on the clearnet then Jersh is simply on borrowed time where I'm sure the Sharty will eventually get sieged too just like what we see with Kiwi Farms. It's only a matter of time.

I noticed as well that 4chan discussion of this happening was at best 50/50 split on pro-KF/anti-KF and maybe even leaning a bit toward the latter. Kiwi Farms is no longer seen as a based old school forum led by a free speech champion as it was for years and years, and is more and more being labeled as a Reddit knockoff ran by a pedo feminist fraudster. I have a feeling that if and when Josh gets vanned (I do not see him and the site lasting to 2030) it will be a cause for celebration among everyone of every political persuasion.

I actually do believe Kiwi Farms is dead now but not in the way many think.
If Jersh is telling the truth that Kiwi Farms no longer has access to vital big tech infrastructure anymore than I'm willing to believe him here because we've seen this happen to other communities before that have also died or are now on their death beds through a death by a thousand cuts.
There's Stromfront where that place now struggles to stay online where they keep losing access to vital infrastructure and they keep getting sued by civil rights figures that have severely damaged the forum where Stormfront these days keeps going down and that forum now struggles to stay online these days.
There is The Daily Stormer where it was once a popular hot spot for Neo Nazis and others on the far-right but after the 'Unite the Right' rally, the publication began getting deplatformed and sued over civil damages caused by Andrew Anglin where while Andrew Anglin (to his credit) managed to keep The Daily Stormer up and running on the Tor network and eventually got the website running on the clearnet for a while and he received donations to keep the website running; he was eventually forced to close down The Daily Stormer after losing everything because of him running The Daily Stormer.
This leads us to Kiwi Farms where it's clear Jersh is now seen as a complete pariah in the tech world and the tech world simply wants nothing to do with him now. Kiwi Farms is now dead, it's just a question of how long Kiwi Farms can bleed out until they finally drop dead just like The Daily Stormer.

I am always surprised at how careless farmers are with personal information. Or doing things that would make you tracking you down trivial like sharing drawings or novel ideas. There are very few communities that won't shun you if they know you have an account there.
