It's funny.... Americans are always raised being told freedom is the highest value, but places like Kiwi Farms are when you start to realize freedom has its issues. The biggest, of course, being the "one jerk ruins it for everybody" problem, combined with the "idiots with a very simplistic understanding of nuanced moral concepts" problem. Kiwi Farms is unfortunately a perfect example of what happens when you promise people freedom--a lot of people take that to mean "no consequences for being a dick" and proceed to act as such.
