Josh is doing the same type of performative virtue-signaling about this movie that he did on the video game Pragmata. He thinks if he goes in hard and says basically, "This is for pedophiles. X should be arrested," then that will make him look like a good moral person and exempt himself from being a pedophile. This seems to come from having a guilty conscience and knowing deep inside, that he is a pedo. Remember that Josh got exposed on Blockland forums of trying to meet a 12 year old disabled girl (Lizzy Rascal) in a wheelchair for sex as a 19 year old grown adult man. Josh reminds me of the story "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe. In this story, the narrator murders a man with a blue eye, dismembers the body, and hides the body underneath the floorboards of his house. The police arrive to his house and he lets them in. While they're talking, the narrator begins to hear the sound of a dull heartbeat underneath the floor. The sound grows louder and louder, until it's all he can hear. The police cannot hear the sound but the narrator thinks they can, because it's deafening in his own mind. He thinks the police are mocking his guilt. The narrator is overwhelmed by paranoia and he breaks down and confesses to the murder. Ultimately, the narrator had a guilty conscience because he knew he had done something wrong. I suppose the story would have been more analogous if the narrator had gone around town and virtue-signaled about how bad murder is, and accused other people of being murderers.

So in regards to the docudrama film Primetime, I'll just say this.
If there is one criticism I have for the film is that Hollywood will be Hollywood where they will often exaggerate the truth for entertainment and whenever they retell historical events, they'll use caricatures to entertainment the masses (be it films about World War 2, films about American history, films about ancient civilizations, and so on) and the way they made Chris Hansen into an exaggerate caricature here is another example of how Hollywood has always portrayed public and histrionic figures.
But I think it has to be said. While the film does over-exaggerate the things Chris Hansen did behind the scenes, it appears that many of Chris Hansen's diehard supporters and rightoid retards that worship Chris Hansen are falling for a Fallacy Fallacy here (which states that just because something is argued poorly doesn't mean it's incorrect) and the Fallacy Fallacy here is that many of Chris Hansen's supporters think the film is character assassination on Chris Hansen just because the film exaggerates things and made him a caricature but they're either too prideful or too stupid to see pass the hero image to understand why the film criticized the things Chris Hansen did in his personal life and the things he did behind the scenes in To Catch a Predator.
It should be worth noting that the film doesn't portray the child predators as good people and the film make it very clear that the child predators that Chris Hansen exposed over the years are dangerous and evil individuals that need to be put behind bars. The point that the film makes about Chris Hansen is that Chris Hansen is another figure of history that pioneered a noble cause (in this case it's exposing child predators) but would later become disgraced when certain things about public and historic figures come to light that taints the hero image of said individual.
History is filled to the brim with historic figures that were once praised by historians and once praised by the general public but as details surface about said figures over the years, the hero image started to be heavily tainted and I can name some examples. Some examples are:
This woman was celebrated by religious leaders and advocates for humanitarian efforts where she was once portrayed by the media and the Vatican as an example of a good Christian missionary. But since the 2000's, details came up about her that makes her look pretty fucked up in the grand scheme of things; from providing substandard medical care and she refused to give pain medication to the dying, she was very secretive about how the money that was donated to her was being used, and conducted forced baptisms in countries where she worked in and often against the will of the people she took care for.
This man is well known for leading the Indian independence movement that advocated for Indian to become independent from the British crown which eventually India did succeeded in becoming independent from the UK though non-violent protests.
While Gandhi was celebrated for standing up to European imperialism, this did not mean he was a saint. He did held racist views against blacks, he denied his wife live-saving medicine (penicillin) because he saw it as 'alien medicine' and thought alternative medicine could save her (his wife died not long after from a preventable and treatable disease), and the most controversial thing about Gandhi is that he slept with little girls (which include his grand nieces) and while he claimed he didn't have sex with them (according to him he wanted to test his celibacy and he claimed he never had sex with them), this is still fucking weird for a man to do this.

Chris Hansen cheated on his first wife which lead to the divorce from his first wife, he scammed his own followers though a Kickstarter campaign and made off with thousands of dollars, Chris Hansen knowingly wrote bad checks to scam the people he worked with, many law enforcement agencies that worked with Chris Hansen would become frustrated with him because at times his ego lead to said investigations being botched and said accused child predators would end up getting away because of his actions, and the most notable thing is that Chris Hansen botched is the raid against Bill Condrant (a former lawyer that was suspected of being a child predator at the time) from Texas where local authorities were quietly waiting to arrest him but Chris Hansen (in his galaxy brained infinite knowledge) thought it would be a good idea to arrest him now (because he wanted good TV) but Chris Hansen ruining the element of surprise resulted in the suspect taking his own life and this royal fuck up lead to the cancellation of To Catch a Predator and NBC had to settle 105 million dollars to the affected family of the suspect because of what Chris Hansen did. None of these criticisms against Chris Hansen is anything new, these criticisms towards the man have been made by law enforcement, journalists, and even by people who once worked with him many years before Primetime was made into film.
A lot of the criticisms against Chris Hansen are funnily enough many of the same criticisms that the Predator Hunting community faces today. Whether it's complete frauds like MamaMax using bullshit evidence to try to ruin innocent people's lives, retards like Jideon that keep touching the poop and thinks his millions of dollars in the bank somehow shields him from accountability, and Alex Rosen where it's clear that Rosen and his organization the Predator Poachers don't care about kids and they often use the money that is donated to them for right-wing causes instead of using that money to help actual kids in need.
No one on this planet should ever be exempt from criticism (no one). As the old saying goes, never meet your heroes because chances are they're an asshole.

I was thinking awhile back and it really is absurd to think what type of film Null wanted this to be. Like Chris Hansen is treated better in this film than Tony Stark is in any Iron Man or Avengers film outside the last one. It was almost a game to me to think what protagonists of the last decade were treated with the same kid gloves as Chris Hansen was here, and compared to every other white male lead. Chris is practically treated like a Mary Sue level badass. And that still wasn't enough for these fuckers.
The director could have easily put in a scene where Chris asks a fan to pay for his dinner or meal at a resturant, promise to pay the guy back and not do it, a la the ways Chris would later fuck people over in the kickstarter stuff. They could have had Chris schmoozing with MeToo era celebs like Harvey Weinstein, Jared from Subway, or Louis CK if they wanted to, it actually happened but they didn't put that in the film, they could have also had Chris doing dumb commercials parodying TCAP and him laughing it up making it seem like it wasn't really about the kids for Chris, again they didn't do that either.
If this film was meant to be a hitpiece, they left a ridiculous amount off the table that any youtube search could find on Chris, even something as simple as having Chris do a cameo on the emmys with Conan O'Brien would have been a fun thing to include in the movie, that could also have been twisted as showing he isn't actually in it for the right reasons. by all accounts this film is probably the best depiction of Chris he could have asked for in the modern day. right wingers wanted a Chris Hansen biopic to be like John Wick, but outside of Neil Breen no one would think thats a good idea, even people that saved millions of lives with technology don't get that level of love in film, because its boring.
This film makes Chris seem way less of an asshole than he is irl, the fact that he's constantly appearing on Fox News besmirching the film sort of shows that fact, even green redditors can barely hide their seeth about the real chris hansen while shittalking this film proves this film did as good of a job as cleaning up his rep as you possibly could,
