nah, i agree with ipreferpickles on this, Null is saying that because he can't admit to taking the L. If you're into drama you see this all the time, plenty of the amber heard supporters "mentally checked out" or said they were "on team no one" back during that whole chaos.
I don't think it's just race, I think it's also that Fuentes is the face of this new right. Imagine how demoralizing it must be for Null to watch Fuentes become what he is now. A guy Null and everyone else was mocking just a few years ago is now eclipsing him on everything from fame to fortune because the same things everyone was laughing at Nick for years ago are now mainstream. That's why Null has started complaining about his age and how he sees Zoomers as "feral animals". He can't keep up and he doesn't want to because all the people who are at the forefront are people KF spent years mocking.
I mean its not the first time a lolcow became huge, Tim Dillon really nailed it when he said that because millennials overshare everything that stuff that should tank someone is just easily forgiven now. I mean look at Scott Presler, he got fired because he made a sex tape in a GOP campaign office back in 2019, and he still was given another shot and is now like king of GOTV in the RNC.

Like yeah he has a past, but so does Dave Smith, a former pornstar and drug dealer and proudboy of the month recipient and d1 athlete and host of the most offensive podcast on the planet. but Dave Smith is literally one of the biggest libertarians in the country and easily a shoe in if he runs for president and his wing is firmly in control of the libertarian party and practically brought it back from the dead post-Gary Johnson.
Shane Gillis and Ari Shaffir were both cancelled in 2019 and had their lives ruined over jokes, but 2 years later they were on Joe Rogan's podcast and became huge stars.
beyond all of that, Nick has the same advantage that BAP has where they can argue their way if someone tries to confront them on the major fuck ups and the lesser fuck ups are the type you'd have to be extremely autistic to know about and were so long ago it doesn't matter.
fucking Matt Mccusker proudly gooned to tranny porn but is also probably the biggest mainstream stand up comedian that wears the "republican" label. like if you take a step out of the kiwifarms bubble its understandable why Fuentes isn't hated as much as Null would assume.
Lunar Magna has another great point, kiwifarms only has 3k users, and even most of them have given up seething about Fuentes and admit he's funny. people can grow and move on. its like judging Robert Downey Jr based on how he was in the 90s and early 2000s.
Say what you will about Fuentes but he's now "in the zone" in terms of fame. he's grown enough and has a proper media strategy and his swagger and ability to schmooze means he'll go places. Null can't even handle the slightest criticism and is easily manipulated in conversations and beyond that he holds grudges forever, Null is only so hateful towards May because May got the entire website to laugh at him when she had a kiwifarms account and turned out not to be as dumb as she looked.
