I smashed a 19 year old when I was 38, it was because I lied and told her I was 35 and she lied and told me she was 25. By the time we both found out we already loved each other. We were together for like 6 months before we found out each other's real age.
Although I did find the idea of it revolting, especially since she was younger than my oldest son. Unfortunately she was good at gas lighting me into loving her.

Josh didn't call all women holes; iirc he called the specific women in that Australian feminist group holes and Lidl didn't even direct her anger directly at Josh but to vague forum users that were calling women holes. A more likely explanation is that Josh read this thread, realized the gig was up and people know Lidl is him on a sock, and used the event as an excuse to retire the Lidl character before it gets fully exposed.
