Josh reveals his shitty taste in video games. You ever wonder why he only plays those tranny games like "Life is Strange" on stream? Its not just to play something bad for steaming content. It's just because his taste sucks. He hates Dark Souls. Is there a bigger mark of a faggot than this? Let's take a guess. He tried to take the elevator down to the ghosts and got killed over and over again, then he tried to take the cliff path with the skeletons that kick every noobie's ass at the beginning of the game and got annihilated. Rather than taking the path towards the undead soldiers, the intended route everyone is supposed to take, he probably gave up immediately because the game didn't hold his hand and give him "proper" tutorials on how block and swing the sword or didn't let him spend money to instantly defeat the skeletons. Dude can't handle a real game. Back to Blockland and Roblox, bucko.


The only point I will give him is that because of Dark Souls (Demon's Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, etc.), all developers started copying elements of it and making clones of it. The invincibility frames while rolling to dodge is one of many examples. Stop letting people dodge all the attacks if they time if correctly at the apex of the enemies swing. You're not Dark Souls or Bloodborne. Copying Dark Souls is lame and derivative. Do your own thing.

So around Thanksgiving groypers finally came to the attention of RW accounts on twitter because they started photoshopping children's faces into CP.

Dark souls is overrated trash tbh but there are other games that actually warrant the popularity like helldivers 2 that aren't sonic games in denial. Diving out of the way of an oncoming freight truck bug is more believable than constantly rolling like sonic the hedgehog and having a non functional blocking mechanic.

Infinity blade did the whole "cryptic storytelling via exploring the levels" schtick better too and that was well before souls games became popular overseas. And that was a decent trilogy of mobile games. No autistic third party youtubers required to understand the lore. Just hidden cutscenes unlocked via treasure hunts and other postgame lore that is entirely explained in game and not just half assedly put in there because they hate the gaijin. There's some room for leaving things to the imagination and secret boss fights like having its own version of duel of the fates with its own version of lightsabers more as a postgame easter egg, but it just does a better job with world building overall than any fromsoft game that only teenagers seem to militantly shill and have no fucking clue what actual storytelling even is in video games anymore and dont care to.
