The reason for the name change was that the Chucks had an acrimonious divorce (caused by Mrs Chuck cucking Mr Chuck with one Mr Sneed) and the judge, who was a dirty Demonrat, awarded the store to Mrs Chuck, who promptly married Mr Sneed and hence it was renamed to Sneed's.
