I hear a lot of people talking about "Eating Clean"

Betelgeuse

I think it was Dostoevsky who said... Later fucker!
Hellovan Onion
What the fuck does that even mean?

What is eating clean and how do you do it? Is it like a vegan buzzword or something?

Solution
It's refraining from processed foods...

"Foods to Avoid
When it comes to what foods you should avoid on a clean diet, the list is mainly comprised of highly processed foods that are high in added sugar, sodium, and trans fats, and low in overall nutritional value. These foods are typically sources of empty calories. Some of these foods can also be associated with potential negative health consequences when included as part of an overall unhealthy diet and lifestyle.

With the exception of occasionally drinking alcohol and drinking soda I already eat clean. I had no idea that that's what it meant.

I highly processed foods are hard to avoid in America anymore. Though I usually source my food stuffs through local farms. And the rest through club stores

Thank God my little Asian bug lady participates in these things called "community gardens" around here. It's a set aside space where people come and grow different fruits and vegetables all natural and fresh.

For a small membership fee we actually reap the benefits of fresh and organic produce.

Like I said apparently I've been eating mostly clean and didn't even realize it. I thought eating clean meant you had to go 100% vegan or something lol.

But yea if your area has a community garden I highly recommend that you take advantage of it.

Good Idea we use a CSA
That gives us locally grown products from small family farms. There's a revolution when comes to farm to table foods

Chinese lady participates in local communist garden to feel more at home. Jk that actually sounds nice.

It used to be a fancy way of saying "stop eating candy and potato chips" but now twitter faggots have turned it into hating on dairy, hating on beef and chicken, hating on foods like onions and carrots that have natural glucose in them, and I've even seen retarded women call baby formula "processed" so they can character assassinate new mothers who can't breastfeed their kids for some reason.

What it really means is "just cook everything and stop eating junkfood."

I met a food scientist while I was on vacation. He was talking some stuff about food safety in the US and I decided to invite myself into the discussion because I was curious. When I asked him about clean eating, he said that he personally doesn't like bunch of perservatives in his food, but as of now there is no clear correlation between the food additives and overall health. Sure you see vegan propaganda about how meat eaters get fat and die faster but duh, you also happen to eat more fat. His point was that consumers are subscribing to inexact science and chemophobia (aka, "its bad for you if you cant read it'). Organic food is a scam in the US, and clean eating is a plain fraud. I went to Europe 4 years ago and their food ingredient lists are just as long.

Interestingly, however, every vegan I've ever known - and I've known a few - has always ended up eating meat again. In fact, my neighbors, good people with good intentions, are a case in point. The wife, who had initially adopted a vegan lifestyle, eventually succumbed to her protein cravings, if you know what I mean. Now, I regularly invite them over for steak.

The food scientist guy told me a very interesting thing about these vegans - when plant protein has become trendy (it is still), the marketting teams and influencers used moral high horse tactics (i.e. DO YOU CARE ABOUT NATURE?! ANIMALS?! YOU FILTHY GOAT RAPIST?!@!#$@) and it turned off middle ground consumers who would have been interested.

It's true that they employ those tactics. My neighbors, for instance, adopted a vegan lifestyle, swayed by trendy influencers and perceived benefits for animal welfare and the environment. Unfortunately, they are fans of Joe Rogan, so occasionally they share conspiracy theories that I recall from the days of Leonard Nimoy's 'In Search Of...

As long as they're not torturing dogs under the misconception it makes the meat taste better like the Chinese I don't care. It's actually proven to make it taste worse and is fucked up in general.
