I've been working out daily and that would tire me out. Also I've been taking magnesium at night which I think makes me tired/sleep well. Melatonin can help too but take it for just a few nights around the same time, hopefully your body will get the hint it's sleep time around that time. There's also various sleepy teas like the famous sleepy time tea or mugwort which can have that effect. Careful with melatonin and mugwort though those can cause a deep sleep with vivid dreams and sometimes drowsiness upon waking. Depends on your body tho. Hopefully unyun sleep well. No concuss.
 
Reason: Magnesium glycinate is the one you want. Also don't let yourself wake up, just go back 2 bed
I like to have rain sounds in the background to fall asleep to. There are plenty of free videos on YouTube that can be used.
I've also found it's easier to fall asleep if you are cooler than if it's hot, you can try turning the temperature down
 
It is different for different people, and ADHD probably makes it worse for me, but what I do:
  • total darkness
  • white noise in a quiet place
  • melatonin (it will NOT make you a nigger; that's melanin)
  • watch YouTube videos in bed
  • sleep on a good quality bed
  • the best thing is to be exhausted before sleep
What I don't do:
  • sleep around morons
  • take sleep aids shilled on YouTube
  • sleep on a bed shilled on YouTube
  • get butthurt about shit on the Internet before bed
  • try to sleep during the day
 
It sounds like you need to reset your circadian rhythm, Unyuns. Wake up shortly before dawn, don't use caffeine, watch the sun rise. Then that night, after a long day of being productive on your feet, watch the sun set. Avoid using any screens until it's time for bed, then repeat the next day. After maybe a week you should be hitting a natural sleep cycle which should improve your quality of sleep
 
:thinking: Stay off your phone one hour before bed, also taking a hot bath or shower before you're ready to lay down.
Exercise & stretching before getting in bed helps, having the air cold in the room & complete darkness. White noise helps or put on a show you like in the background.. if you drink tea don't drink black teas that could have caffeine & it might be autistic but weighted blankets are good.. :like: They can help keep you cool. I hope unyun gets better rest..
