Former Director-General of the PFIPC Pledges to Turn All Documents Over To The Authorities
Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi who was the Former Director-General of the supposed Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) pledged to submit all documents in his possession to security agencies to assist with any investigation ordered by President Bola Tinubu into the PFIPC. This was during a conversation with social media activist Martins Otse (aka Very Dark Man). Very Dark Man claimed that the PFIPC was fake.
He was quoted as saying: “I am willing and ready to help security agencies or any panel set up by Mr. President to unravel the truth.” “Any moment from now, I will go to the DSS or police to submit all the documents I have to help them investigate and look into this matter.” Adeyemi said he would personally go to the Department of State Services (DSS) or the Nigeria Police Force with all the documents in his possession.
Her urged that the documents be carefully verified to their authenticity and to establish those responsible who created the controversy regarding the agency.
He was quoted as saying: “They should authenticate it. They should verify it. Then they should unravel the truth
Adeyemi claimed he was arrested on October 27th and detained for 23 days and then released on November 19th before being charged to court on November 27th. He maintained he was not involved in preparing or defending the agency’s 2025 budget. He did not know how the agency showed up in the national budget.
Very Dark Man has suggested that it was influential individuals that the agency described as non-existent by the President found its way into the national budget and welcomed the documents being handed over to the proper authorities.
