The age-old question: who's your go-to stand-up comedian? For me, it's gotta be the one and only George Carlin. There's just something about his biting social commentary, clever wordplay, and unapologetic irreverence that never fails to leave me in awe. From his iconic "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television" bit to his scathing critiques of politics and social norms, Carlin's comedy is like a time capsule of wit and wisdom.
But I'm curious, Onion farmers who's your favorite stand-up comedian from the old school? Are you a fan of the raw, unflinching honesty of Richard Pryor, who paved the way for generations of comedians to come.
Or do you prefer the high-energy, in-your-face style of Chris Rock, who was always pushing the boundaries of what's considered "acceptable" in comedy?

Maybe you're a fan of the laid-back, observational humor of Eddie Murphy,
or the raunchy stylings of Andrew Dice Clay

Whoever it is, I want to know - what is it about their comedy that speaks to you? Is it their fearless honesty, their clever writing, or just their unapologetic irreverence?

For me, what sets Carlin apart is his ability to tackle tough topics with humor and wit, without ever sacrificing his integrity or his values. He's like a comedic prophet, speaking truth to power and challenging his audience to think critically about the world around them. And let's be real, his influence can still be felt in comedy today - from the likes of Dave Chappelle to Hasan Minhaj, Carlin's legacy continues to inspire and provoke new generations of comedians. So let's get the conversation started - who's your favorite old-school comedian, and what makes them so funny to you? Share your thoughts, and let's keep the laughs going in the OnionFarms comedy lounge!

I just think Bill Burr sounds like a discount Gilbert gottfried especially when Bill is ranting or Gilbert used his normal voice.

Bill coalBURRner is a shell of what he used to be. We get it dude you like that black pussy that looks like a fistful of purple roast beef.

Every time I hear him talk now I just hear his wife with her hand up his ass working him like a muppet. He used to be hilarious and now he's just bitch made.

Shane gillis is a shill but I'll still give him credit because he makes me laugh. Beautiful dogs really was an amazing stand-up special.

But circling back to what kiwi said, if I had to make a Mount Rushmore right now I'd be hard-pressed to pick four or five, but Eddie Murphy's Delirious would DEFINITELY be on the list.

I think my top five in no particular order are:

-Eddie Murphy
-Patrice O'Neal
-Robin Williams
-Bill Hicks
-Nick DiPaolo

I know one person no one will pick. Joe Rogan. Because he's not funny.

True though

I'm not sure if anyone has heard of this...
There is a conspiracy theory that Alex JOnes is actually Bill Hicks. This comes from... well... Kevin Booth promoting him, kinda like a Hicks who read the news... and sold stuff.

Jones does play on this, as Hicks still has some clout. But, there are a couple of holes in this theory. 1. Jones is considerably shorter than Hicks. Hicks was over 6ft, Jones is under. That's the slam dunk, right there. But for the more esoterically minded... 2. This theory (Hicks fakes death by cancer, and comes back as JOnes and works with Booth) only works if Booth and Hicks were still friends.

History (and money) has had Booth some what revise the Story of Bill. In fact, he went as far as to ban people from his FB group, if they dared quote the book HE published. Hicks and Booth (and most of the people he came up with) were not friends at the end of his career. He started hanging out with a guy who got pigged for some noncing crime.

There was a theory that Hicks was killed by the government, tho. This is due to him dying of pancreatic cancer. Which is uncommon in someone of his age... However, again, looking at the facts, this is quickly deboonked.

Hicks was an alcoholic, who did a Texan amount of coke. He also had a shitty diet. He once boasted of flying interstate, just to get a particular type of Hotdog, from a particular stand. If you see footage of him at the end (I'm thinking of the Caps'eyez(?) interview, where Hicks shows the Tank footage at Mount Carmel), he's clearly ill, having lost a lot of wait.

It's like Cobain, there is zero evidence of there being a conspiracy to kill him, but still the videos get made.

Oh, and the Franklin scandal, that's bollocks, too.

Oh my God I haven't heard of that or the Jimi Hendrix became Morgan Freeman conspiracy in years!!!

I've always maintained that Bo is a faggot, and now that I know he probably eats the cream pies out of his girlfriend that just solidifies it for me even more.

He insists he's not gay but I wouldn't be surprised if he's bisexual. Vivian, the troon I've been documenting here on OF (who insists Bo is a closeted troon, but he thinks that of everyone who's even slightly faggy), so Vivian once did a reading of Bo Burnham's poetry in an unlisted video, and every other poem he read out loud was about Bo going to orgies and having sex with men and women and "realizing what he needed". Even if these poems were just fantasies to titillate his thirsty fans, I suspect Bo has, at the very least, a cucking fetish, hence the above picture where his girlfriend is kissing another man and he's hugging them both like a pastor towering above them, as if to give them his cucking-blessings.

That kid is a half a fag for SURE. Just the way he carries himself and talks and acts... He knows his way around a cock.

Bo Burnham is a controversial comedian.

Listen pal I don't come down to where you work and slap the cat girl pussy out of your mouth, don't tell me how to run my subforum.
Eating pussy is for chicks I don't put my mouth where they piss.
