Without doxxing myself, one of my former employers once gave me one of those magnetic pins with the company logo to wear on my suit while working (I had a front desk job where I dealt directly with customers face2face). The magnet holding the pin in place was so weak though, that it fell right off my jacket the very first day on the job. 
If you're gonna give employees company swag, make sure it's not useless crap like this.
